Brooke: Rick, I can see the two of you are in bed.

Next scene: Liam and Steffy talk at the cliff house.

Liam: It was wonderful to see Kelly.

Steffy: She's always happy to see her dad. 

Liam: I think she liked the new book I got her, right?

Steffy: Mostly she loved the fact that you read it to her before bedtime. 

Liam: Yeah... That's what I loved too. So... How are things between you and Finn?

Steffy: Hope told you, right?

Liam: Told me what?

Steffy: Oh come on Liam... Hope saw me and Brittany arguing. She had to tell you. 

Liam: Maybe she mentioned something.

Steffy: Maybe?

Liam: Ok she said that you and Brittany might have a problem because she is not over Finn.

Steffy: Yep. Her feelings for him bother me only a little... Her telling him about her feelings is what bothers me a lot. 

Liam: She came up to him and told him?

Steffy: Thorne is her father and he defends her. Now I am at odds with my own uncle because of this. 

Liam: I'm sorry...

Steffy: We will deal with this. I am sure that Brittany will realize that she has to keep away. I'm sorry, but I don't want to talk about her anymore.

Liam: Hey I totally get it.

Steffy: I wanted her to be happy... She's my cousin you know? I hate that we are at odds, but this is how it's got to be. I have to protect my family. 

Next scene: Brittany and Thorne talk at Eric's home.

Brittany: Dad, I am more than grateful that you defend me and that you want me to be connected to the whole family... I appreciate it. You are the best dad ever and I regret we couldn't met sooner, but... You need to stop. 

Thorne: What?

Brittany: Dad, I mean it... Stop it. I will be fine.

Thorne: Honey, just don't go away... We need you here.

Brittany: So... I can't be a Forrester model anymore.

Thorne: Because Steffy isn't comfortable with looking at you?

Brittany: Yes!

Brittany: At least until I will sort things out with Steffy, ok?
