Jack and Sally still talk at il giardino, but with more plates on their table.

Sally: You made me eat so much!

Jack: Me? You wanted it!

Sally: You ordered it!

Jack: Well.. You could refuse...

Sally: How?! It looked so good... God, tomorrow I will have to go jogging. 

Jack: Maybe I can go with you.

Sally: You also ate a lot. 

Sally smiles and thinks for a moment.

Sally: Thank you. You made my evening amazing. You are funny and so...  I don't know.

Jack: Handsome?

Sally: I won't answer that.

Jack: Why? 

Sally: I am in a relationship. 

Jack gets sad. 

Jack: Well I hope that Thomas does see what a gem you are. 

Sally smiles to Jack. Jack kisses her hand. 

Jack: I must go now. See you Sally.

Sally is shocked. Jack leaves and she looks at her mobile.

Sally: What?!

Sally notices that Thomas didn't turn off his location and he is at Bill's house.

Next scene:  Thomas and Caroline go to the swimming pool area. 

Thomas: You want to swim? 

Caroline: I think I just want to sit here and talk.

Thomas: I spent such a big amount of my life living in the house. So many hours at the pool... With my Mom, Dad, sister and some friends... Now it belongs to Bill. 

Caroline: Uncle Bill paid for it so...

Thomas laughs.

Thomas: I know, I know... I just wish that I could turn back time. 

Caroline: I wish to turn back time too. 

Thomas: To which period?

Caroline: Before I lied to you. 

Thomas: Caroline...

Caroline: I know this is what changed your feeling for me.

Thomas: I will always love you... You are the mother of my child. Life just went on and I met Sally... And... Really I forgave you a long time ago. I am not perfect myself. 

Next scene: Bill and Katie are in the living room.

Katie: Thomas and Caroline  speak for hours today.

Bill: Good. They need it. 

Katie: Sure. They have a son together.

Bill: And that is what matter most. I won't pretend that I think differently... They should be together and the red head should just go. 

Katie: Bill... Sally has feelings. She's a human.

Bill: I know and I'm sure she and her lovely face can find another admirer... Caroline has only one baby Daddy and that's Thomas. 

Katie: True... Look, I would want to see Caroline and Thomas back together as well. Partially because of Douglas and also because Caroline loves him. 

Thomas: Yes. These two reasons matter... He is a horrible person, but... He is the father of Douglas and we can't change it. 

Knocking on the door stops their conversation.
