Macy, Deacon and Thorne continue talking.

Macy: I am so, so grateful for you saving me, but... For some reason I got married to this man. I know that we just had to be so unhappy together if my mind opened for him and it didn't for you. 

Thorne: It's a coincidence... Your mind didn't open even for your own parents.

Macy: But it did for Deacon. He probably gave me hope and love when you took it all away... Right? Was it like that?

Deacon: It sure as hell was.

Brittany walks in.

Brittany: Hey... I am a bit late because I went to the beach to think a bit before coming here... We have a guest?

Macy: Honey, this is my husband... Deacon Shape. 

Deacon: Pleased to met you.

Brittany: Hi... I'm Brittany. 

Thorne: Deacon, can you leave me, my daughter and the mother of my child to talk in private?

Macy looked at Deacon and nodded.

Deacon takes out a piece of papers and hands it to Macy.

Deacon left. 

Brittany: Ma... Mom... 

Macy smiled at Brittany.

Brittany: Are you going away with Deacon? Are you leaving me and dad now?

Macy: Well... One day I will have to go back to my husband.

Thorne: We have a family Macy... Something we dreamt of for so long. 

Macy: I don't remember it. 

Brittany: I was thinking while being on the beach and.... I came to a conclusion that we would be an amazing family... Mom, don't leave dad... Please. 

Next scene: Thomas and Caroline do the dishes in the loft.

Thomas: I'm happy that we can spend some quality time together.

Caroline looked at Thomas without saying a word.

Thomas: You still don't talk much... How long with it last Caroline?

Caroline: Okay... Dishes are done. I will go out now. I have to visit Katie and uncle Bill.

Thomas: Wait... 

Caroline stopped. 

Thomas: I love you... I've made terrible mistakes in the past. I know it. That's why I didn't tell you about it. I didn't want you to judge me by the person I no longer am.

Caroline: You talk about it like it was decades ago Thomas... Did you really change that much since then?

Thomas: Look... Your supposed death destroyed me in every possible way... Especially here.

Thomas points at his head.

Caroline: Oh don't you dare blaming it on me! 

Thomas: I'm not... 

Caroline: So I can't even die in the future because if I'll die before you... You'll turn up into a psychopath again?!

Thomas: Caroline... I....
