Wyatt, Liam, Katie, Bill and Hope continue talking.

Wyatt: Caroline is alive. I saw her. 

Hope: But... But... 

Wyatt: I know it has to be a shock.

Hope: Caroline would contact her son! She would never ever leave him! 

Wyatt: She didn't leave him.

Liam: You told us that she is alive... If she is alive and doesn't have contact with Douglas then she left him... 

Wyatt: No...She's in a coma. 

Hope started crying. Katie goes to hug her. Bill stands up and walks towards Wyatt.

Bill: Are you sure you saw her in a coma?

Wyatt: Yes. It was Caroline.

Bill: How could Karen do this to us? We mourned Caroline's death!

Liam: This is insane... Hope... Please calm down.

Hope: Calm down? You know how many nights Douglas was crying in my arms because he was missing Caroline? And she's alive?

Wyatt: But in a coma... Unconscious. 

Hope: Poor Caroline and poor little Douglas...

Wyatt: Please don't blame Karen. She didn't want Douglas to see Caroline like this and be traumatized.

Bill: So why did Karen decide to share the news with us now? After so long... 

Wyatt: Caroline was absolutely unresponsive for all that time until one day she moved her finger... She also moved when I was there. She started to respond to the voices that she knows. We believe that hearing Douglas would... Trigger her. 

Hope: So Karen didn't want to traumatize Douglas, but now she wants to give him the biggest shock of his life?! And even then his mother might not wake up!?

Bill: Hope... Maybe that's the only way.

Katie: Can't they play recordings for her? Like she could hear Douglas...

Bill: Nah, it's not the same... The doc is right. 

Hope: Well I am not letting Douglas to just go by himself... He needs me. God, he will be so shocked... How will we explain this to him? HOW?! 

Next scene: Karen, Dean and Danielle are talking.

Karen: Wyatt is already telling them everything. He sent a text that he is walking inside. 

Danielle: My God... I hope they'll listen to him.

Karen: They will. They are our family. They might be angry, but they won't leave us now. They want Caroline to get well as much as we want it.

Dean: What about Douglas's new mother? She might be more angry than your family... 

Karen: She should want what's best for Douglas.

Dean: She is probably going to protect him and his fragile little heart. 

Karen: Don't you want Caroline to be his mother again?

Dean: There is nothing I want more. Maybe I don't always show it, but it's all I think about... 

Danielle: Dean is right... Hope could be protective. This will be a shock for Douglas. God knows how he will react.
