Katie vs Karen

Katie, Dean and Karen continue talking.

Katie: Karen, you need to calm down. We are not your enemies. 

Karen: I have something special with Danielle... We don't need somebody else in all of this. Caroline views us as her only parents.

Katie: Nobody is going to take that away from you.

Karen: Oh yes? What are you trying to do right now?

Katie: Well I am not trying to take you and Danielle away from Caroline, but a real bio Dad could be a nice addition to Caroline's life. 

Next scene: Flo and Wyatt are preparing the table for supper. 

Flo: I am so happy that you have convinced Liam and Hope to show up. 

Wyatt: Yeah... Wasn't easy.

Flo looks at Wyatt and she turns sad.

Flo: So... You had to ask them a lot to see me, right? 

Wyatt: Flo... You know the situation.

Flo: Yeah I do... I have only myself to blame.

Wyatt comes closer to Flo and puts his hand on her shoulder. Few seconds later they can hear knocking at the door.

Flo: my God, it's them...

Wyatt: Don't be nervous. It will be alright.

Wyatt goes to open the door. Hope and Liam are there. Hope is serious and silent. 

Liam: Hi bro!

Wyatt: Welcome! Please take a seat. Flo prepared a great stew. 

Liam: Vegetarian?

Flo: Yes... Wyatt told me to make a vegetarian stew. 

Liam: I'm curious! 

Flo: Hope? You ok?

Hope: Yes... Of course. How are you feeling?

Flo: Fine. The babies are coming soon. We are really excited.

Hope: That's wonderful. 

Next scene: Karen and Dean talk alone. Katie left to check on Will.

Dean: You didn't have to attack Katie. She cares for Caroline a lot. 

Karen: Whatever.

Dean: Stop acting like a kid! You are such a stubborn, possessive person sometimes... Katie made a good point and you are angry at her for it. Because you know that she is right! 

Karen: Dean... Why now?

Dean: When I think about it... I just feel it's the right thing to do.

Karen: For who? For you? What about the rest of us?

Dean: Good for me and for Caroline...

Next scene: Flo, Wyatt, Liam and Hope are still together.

Hope: The stew was lovely.

Flo: A simple dish, but I had a craving. 

Liam: Gotta eat what the little ones demand. I remember when Hope was pregnant. We always had to eat what she wanted.

Hope: Well the cravings during the pregnancy are a real thing.

Wyatt: We are so happy to have you here. Would you like a desert? We have some chocolate cake in the fridge. 

Hope: No thank you. I want to go home.

Flo: So early?

Hope: I need to spend more time with Douglas. He will be taken from me soon.
