Two women at odds

Hope and Liam talk at their home.

Hope: I jut got a text from my dad. He and Macy seem to be doing fine.

Liam: I am not surprised. They are in paradise.

Hope: They sure are. It makes me think we need a vacation as well. 

Liam: It's long overdue. 

Liam pulls Hope to him and sits her on his knees.

Hope: Whoa! What is that all about?

Liam: I just love you.

Hope: I love you too.

Liam: Don't you feel guilty at times? 

Hope: Why would I?

Liam: We are so lucky... So in love... We have a beautiful daughter and we just... Beat all odds.

Hope: Everyday I'm grateful for it. 

Liam: We can never forget how lucky we are.

Hope smiles and they both kiss. 

Next scene: Brooke and Ridge talk in their home.

Brooke: Shauna and your father are getting married?

Ridge: Yep.

Brooke: Well I hope she will sign a prenup. 

Ridge: I don't think my father prepared one.

Brooke: You must be kidding me?

Ridge: I'm not. 

Brooke: He told you that?

Ridge: Yeah... You know me. I had to ask.

Brooke: That's absurd... In another case I wouldn't say a thing, but... Shauna was encouraging her daughter to lie about Beth so personal gain. There is something wrong with her morality Ridge. I know none of us is perfect, but this woman has proven that she has no problems hurting someone for money.

Ridge: Did you think she did for money?

Brooke: Yes! She knew that Flo has this new, rich family... She wanted us to help Flo... While they kept this horrible secret that killing us for months. 

Ridge: Logan, it's better if we ignore it. Look what happened when me and Thomas wanted to stop Rick and Diana. 

Brooke: You know that I hate this comparison, right?

Ridge: The point is... Our family won't always choose who we like.

Brooke: It's unlike you to talk this way.

Ridge: Brooke, my dad has been through a lot... And Thomas ending in the hospital because we didn't like Diana's choice was enough... I want some peace in this family. 

Brooke looks surprised.

Next scene: Shauna and Massimo eat breakfast and laugh. Shauna has a sexy short dress.

Massimo: It's delicious, but not as delicious as you...

Shauna smiles at Massimo while he touches her leg.

Diana comes in. 

Diana: Dad?! 

Massimo takes his hand from Shauna's leg.

Massimo: Diana...

Diana: I see you two are getting cozy... You don't have a bedroom?

Massimo: Diana, watch your tone. I'm sorry Shauna.

Diana looks outraged that Massimo apologized.

Massimo: What brings you here? 

Diana: I came to take the rest of my things.
