Chan woke up to Felix's loud voice filling the apartment. He groaned, bright sun stinging his eyes. He got up and checked the time, understanding immediately why Felix was screaming. They were late for work. Chan jumped from bed, throwing on a white button down, not bothering to button it just yet, and putting on black slacks. He ran to the bathroom, ignoring Felix's bickering.

"Dammit! We are fucking late and it's all your fault!" Felix shouted from the kitchen. Chan rolled his eyes, combing out his chocolate brown hair and brushing his teeth. Felix stepped into the bathroom, voice getting caught in his throat when he looked noticed Chan's bare chest peaking through his shirt. He quickly ripped his eyes away from Chan's washboard abs and swallowed hard, thankful the older man didn't notice him staring.

"We are late and it's all your fault." Felix snapped, squeezing behind Chan and fixing his light blonde hair.

"Sure, Lix. Blame me." Chan said, rolling his eyes and rinsing the toothpaste out of his mouth.

"My head is fucking killing me." Felix complained, shoving Chan out of the way to brush his teeth.

"You could at least say excuse me." Chan shoved back. "Whatever, we are late and need to go, and you're in my way." Felix spoke, quickly brushing his teeth and running out of the bathroom, shoving Chan harshly once more.

"Sorry! I didn't mean that one!" Felix called out. Chan sighed, Yeah right. He rolled his eyes, following behind Felix. The older man walked to his room, buttoning his shirt and tucking it in. He grabbed a shiny leather belt, looping it through the loops of his black pants, and putting on his shoes. He grabbed his wallet, phone, and keys, frantically running to the front door.

"We need to get going, Lix! Minho is going to write us up!" Chan shouted. This was the first time he was ever late to work. He wanted to yell at Felix for pulling that stunt last night, but Felix would probably throw a fit like a child, something he didn't want to deal with. Felix was 21, only two years younger than Chan, yet he acted like a 12 year old sometimes, throwing fits whenever he doesn't get his way and fighting with people who he saw as a threat.

"Let that queer write me up! I'll quit!" Felix called out from his room. "You're all bark and no bite, Lix. Besides, we didn't go through hell with college just to quit a job we both worked so hard to get. Stop acting like a damn baby and get going!" Chan shouted, walking out of the door. "I'll be in the car!" He said, making his way to his car and waiting patiently for Felix.

He watched Felix scurry out of the apartment, hopping to the car while trying to put on his shoe. "Dammit! Minho is gonna fucking kill us!" Felix said, voice laced with concern. Chan rolled his eyes, driving to the law frim quickly but safely.

"My head hurts!" Felix cried out, rubbing his temples gently. "You shouldn't have gotten drunk last night, Lix. I tried to stop you, but you didn't listen. Like usual." Chan said, annoyed at the extremely cute boy.

"I don't remember you stopping me, liar." Felix shot back.

"You're so annoying, I swear. I am not in the mood to deal with you today so don't even start with me." Chan said, pulling into the parking lot and walking out of the car quickly before Felix could even say something in return. He rushed into the building, eyes meeting with an angry Minho standing at the front desk.

"You're late, Bang." He sternly spoke, lifting an eye brow to see an exhausted Chan. "Was Felix acting up last night?" He asked, knowing automatically why Chan looked so tired and irritated. Chan nodded, walking to the elevator, Minho following him closely. "He got drunk last night and said some fucked up shit, then tried blaming me for us being late this morning."

"Hey! Wait for me!" Felix called out, running to the elevator in hopes of meeting up with both men. Chan would've stopped the elevator on any other day, but he was mad at Felix, so he watched the doors close on the blonde, smiling at the look on Felix's face as the doors closed.

"You must be really pissed at him, huh?" His best friend/boss asked, raising a brow and laughing. Minho knew Chan never did petty little things like that to Felix unless upset with him.

"You have no idea." Chan responded, leaning his back onto the elevator wall and sighing loudly.

"Well seeing since you've had a rough night and morning, I'll let you and Felix off the hook. Just don't let it happen again please." Minho asked. Chan smiled and thanked him. "I really need a break from him. As much as I love him, he's been getting worse with the gay stuff lately. It's getting so annoying." Chan complained.

"Well let's go for drinks tonight. Just me and you." Minho smiled, patting Chan on the shoulder. "I will gladly accept your offer." The brunette smiled back. They both reached their floors, saying their goodbyes and parting their own ways. Chan walked to his cubicle, smiling to himself when he saw Felix's was unoccupied.

Serves him right.

Chan took a seat at his desk, sorting through documents and putting them into their respectful folders. He was working on a case for Seungmin, another lawyer at the firm. He scanned through one of the case files, cringing at the crime Seungmin's client committed, cannibalism. It was hard to believe people were capable of such fucked up things.

The brunette man, sorted through the document, studying the case closely. The sound of the elevator dinging open made his ears perk up. He didn't bother looking in the direction of the elevator, he knew exactly who it was who came out of it. He heard Felix's footsteps scurrying quickly towards his direction. "You fucking dick!" Felix whisper shouted, punching Chan in his arm.

Chan ignored him, smiling to himself. "You're ignoring me now?" Felix asked. Chan continued to ignore him, keeping his focus on his work. "Really?" The blonde asked, waving his hand in front of Chan's face. The blonde groaned in annoyance when his best friend remained focused on his case. "Fine! Be that way." He huffed, stomping to his cubicle and plopping onto his chair.

Chan smiled to himself, enjoying the fact that Felix was too upset with him to talk to him for the remainder of their work shift. They both spent their whole time focusing on their work, not acknowledging each other for the whole day.

"I'm gonna be home late. Don't fuck up my car." Chan said to Felix at the end of their shift, throwing his keys in Felix's direction. The blonde frowned at him. "Oh, so now you wanna talk to me?" Felix asked, crossing his arms and looking away from Chan.

"Nope, not really." He deadpanned, walking away from a dumbfounded Felix. "I really hate when you're mad at me! You're a real dick you know!" Felix shouted in the empty office room since everybody already went home.

"What did I even do?!" Felix asked, watching the distance between them growing more and more. "If anything I should be mad at you for this morning and the elevator stunt you pulled!" He growled through clenched teeth.

"See ya, Lix!" Chan waved off, ignoring the blonde's meaningless bickering. He was going to go out and enjoy drinks with Minho to hopefully catch a break from work and his extremely tiring best friend. He smiled, hearing Felix huff loudly in annoyance. Chan rarely treated Felix like this, but when he did, he knew Felix hated it.

It wouldn't be too bad to mess with him for a bit. Chan smiled to himself, making his way to Minho's office and leaving with him to his car. He was ready for a fun night out. He needed it.
