Felix was freaking out the whole way home, horrified that their boss might find out and fire them both.
"For the last time, Lix. Minho could give a flying fuck what we do. The most he will do is slap us on the wrist and tell us not to do it again." Chan reassured for the millionth time.
"T-that doesn't matter! If he looks he will see my ass, my dick, my everything! He will know I am gay too!" The blonde cried out.
"Look, it's okay. You're hot and Minho is also gay. The last thing he will do is judge you."
"B-but he will also see you too..." Felix trailed off, nervously biting his lips. He was more worried about somebody seeing Chan in a way only meant for him. Getting fired was a small fear, but one he couldn't really dwell on. He didn't know much about Minho, but he knew how cool he was about a lot of things. For some reason the idea of Minho knowing his sexuality didn't fully bother him either.
"Jealous aren't we?" Chan asked, raising a brow with a smirk plastered on his face. "Well obviously! Y-you know how possessive I can be when it comes to you..." Felix said in defense.
"Well..." Chan pulled Felix into a his hold before speaking. "Get possessive over me more. I like it." The brunette pulled him into a kiss, hands resting on Felix's petite waist. "C-can you say something to him just in case?" Felix questioned.
"If I say something Minho will know for a fact that we fucked in the office. The chances of him looking at the cameras are slim to none, so I think not saying anything would probably be the best option." Chan reasoned.
"I- you're right..." Felix sighed in defeat, sitting on the couch and kicking off his shoes.
"In all seriousness Lix, I am proud of you, truly I am." Chan said, sitting next to the blonde and repeating the same actions. Chan had something planned for the blonde. It's been a couple days since their date and the progress was astronomical. He wanted to seal the deal. The blonde didn't say anything, only smiled while blushing at the kind words.
"We've known each other for so long, and I never thought we would ever cross this bridge in such a short amount of time or ever for that matter." Chan rambled, eyes staring deeply into Felix's.
"I don't know if things have been too overwhelming for you or not, but I hope that isn't the case, Lix. I want you to be comfortable."
"I-I am not feeling overwhelmed in the slightest! The intensity of it all has gotten easier to deal with. I've felt so much happier these days." The blonde softly spoke, nervously playing with the skin by his fingernail.
"I really am glad. I know how hard it's all been for you, and unfortunately those moments will happen, but I want to be there with you while things are hard. I want to support you and be your shoulder to cry on when you need it most." Chan spoke, turning his body to the blonde and scooching closer. He grabbed hold of the Felix's small hands, eye contact never breaking while he continued.
"I know literally like two or three weeks ago you came out, but I know what I want and that is you." Felix continued to listen, heart rate increasing the more Chan spoke. Just where was he getting at?
"I've been in love with you for years and it makes me even happier knowing you feel the same."
Is he? No that can't be it. Felix shook his head at the insane idea. Chan wasn't that crazy was he? He wouldn't propose, would he? It's too soon!
"You've meant the world to me ever since the day we first met. That night I held you when your dad left, was the same night I fell in love with you. I promised myself to never leave your side since then." Felix swallowed hard. Chan was amazing, but was he really ready for marriage? He just came out not even like two seconds ago!
"I want you to know that you have my heart. I want you to know I love you." Chan continued, seriousness decorating heavy on his facial features. Felix felt his heart dance in his chest at the kind words. He felt happy knowing Chan loved him, because he has felt the same for a long time, but Felix couldn't help but look too deep into it.
If he got married, what would he tell his mom? What would he tell his family? Would it be as gay as he is imagining it. He cringed at the idea of pride flags being used as decorations for the wedding.
Oh god... Felix swallowed hard.
"Basically what I am trying to say is..." Chan's voice shook. He was fearful of rejection, the possibility was scary.
"Will you, Lee Felix-" The older man took a deep breath in before continuing, Felix doing the same while squeezing his eyes shut.
Here it comes!
"Be my boyfriend?" Chan breathed out, causing the blonde to relax a bit. He felt an extreme sense of release and happiness at the words. He let out a huff of air, clutching his heart while laughing. Why would he think Chan would propose? Of course you have to date before all that!
"Fuck, I thought you were going to propose to me or some shit!" The blonde giggled, playfully hitting Chan in the arm.
"Psshhh as if! I don't like you that much." Chan joked, heart growing hollow with anxiety.
"T-to answer your question..." Felix trailed off, looking away once his giggling died down. He blushed a deep rose red, nibbling his lip while he thought. Chan felt sick. Was he going to reject him?
"I-I would love to be your boyfriend. Even if it's extremely gay." Felix smiled, giddiness flowing out of him like a waterfall. Chan couldn't help his excitement, pouncing on top of the blonde and showering him in kisses.
"Fuck yes! Lee Felix is my boyfriend!" Chan shouted, kissing him even more while the blonde giggled. After countless years of fantasizing about this moment, it was finally happening. Chan had finally made his ex homophobic best friend his boyfriend.
"Fuck I love you." Chan growled, devouring the blonde's lips into a hungry kiss. When he pulled away, all he could feel was the intense love that radiated off them both. The same man who claimed to be straight for years and hate gays with a passion was actually his boyfriend. The irony was unbearable, but Chan was so happy he could care less.
"I-I..." Felix looked away nervously before swallowing hard. "I love you too... Channie."
