A couple months had passed since Felix had come out to his family, growing more comfortable with telling people about his relationship with Chan while time passed. He grew more comfortable with PDA with Chan, regardless of the hateful stares they would receive on occasion.
The boys were currently getting ready for a double date with Minho and Jisung. Felix was a bit tense at the idea, given he's never really talked to both men much at all. Jisung was the one who originally pitched the idea, excited to finally get to have a proper interaction with Felix, regardless of the hateful things he called him in the past.
It took a lot of convincing on Chan's end, finally getting Felix to come around after a few hours of begging the blonde. Chan had something big planned for this double date, something both Minho and Jisung were also aware of. Tonight was going to be perfect.
"You're lucky I love you." Felix scoffed while getting ready, blending out his eyeshadow while Chan picked through his closet.
"I am lucky." Chan cooed, causing Felix to blush.
"I'm nervous." Felix said, letting out a nervous sigh while he fixed his hair.
"Why is that my love?" Chan asked, walking up to Felix and leaning over him. His bare chest touched Felix's bare shoulders, both men being topless while they got ready. Chan locked eyes with Felix in the mirror, smiling softly at him before kissing his cheek.
"They know all the hateful shit I used to say about them... Thanks to somebody who has a big mouth" Felix huffed, slapping Chan's arm. Even though things have changed, Felix still tried blaming Chan for certain things on occasion, completely forgetting his role in the matter as well.
"Ow!" Chan cried out, rubbing the freshly slapped skin. "I needed somebody to vent to! Trust me, they don't care about that anymore, Lix. They never really did to begin with." Chan reassured, showering soft kisses all over Felix's neck. The blonde blushed, leaning his head back onto Chan while smiling happily, temporarily forgetting about how nervous he was.
"Even though I hate you, y-you always make me feel better." Felix shyly spoke, voice barely above a whisper.
"That's my job as your boyfriend." Chan giggled, capturing Felix's lips into a kiss. The kiss was soft and sweet, bringing a sense of comfort to Felix like usual. Both men pulled away, staring deeply into each other's eyes.
"You're so beautiful." Chan said, swooning over his stunning boyfriend.
"Shut up..." Felix said, looking away in embarrassment.
Both men continued with getting ready. Felix made sure to look his best, not only because Chan told him to, but because he wanted to impress Jisung and Minho. Not only was he nervous because of what he has said in the past, he was also nervous because Minho was his boss. He didn't share the same relationship with Minho that Chan did. Their relationship had always strictly been work related, so being nervous was expected.
"Let's get going my love." Chan requested once they were done getting ready. He couldn't help but drool at the sight of Felix. He had on a black velvet long sleeve that had a cut out, giving the illusion that he had a choker on. He wore his usual black skinny jeans and chunky platform boots. As usual, his look was completed with jewelry to tie everything into place.
Chan decided to go for something similar to his work attire, a white button down with black slacks and dress shoes. The button up's sleeves were pushed halfway up his arms, exposing the beautiful skin and veiny arms. He wore his usual hoop earrings and a dainty necklace to complete the look.
"You always look so good." Chan growled, pulling Felix into a passionate kiss. Felix mewled in surprise, wrapping his arms around Chan while the older man violated his mouth. "W-we have to get going." Felix blushed, wiggling out of Chan's grip while walking to the door.
As much as he wanted to continue his make out session with Chan, he didn't want a boner that would refuse to go away for the next 30 minutes. "As you wish." Chan smiled, walking with his boyfriend to his car, opening the door for him while grinning like an idiot.
"Gay ass." Felix giggled, rolling his eyes while blushing. Chan's gestures always made Felix giddy, bringing so much happiness to him in the moment. He was always so kind and sweet. They drove to a fancy restaurant Felix had never been to, parking and going inside to meet the other two men.
Felix felt the nervousness settle back into the pit of his stomach once more, Chan taking notice immediately. "It's okay, Lix." Chan smiled, talking hold of his hand while the host took them to their table. Felix had genuine trust in Chan's words, because every time he said it would be okay, it always ended up being okay in the end.
"Hey! Over here!" Jisung called out, waving his hand while smiling brightly.
"Hey guys!" Chan smiled, gesturing Felix to sit on the inside of the booth, him sitting on the outside. Felix remained quiet, giving small smiles while the others chattered. He felt tense, Minho and Jisung's eyes darting onto him every so often.
"So, Felix!" Jisung happily said, causing the blonde to jump. "We finally meet." Minho's boyfriend happily said, his outgoing personality intimidating Felix to the point of no return. The blonde tensed even more when he felt Chan's hand on his thigh. He calmed down once the older man began rubbing small circles on his thigh in hopes of easing his nerves.
"We finally meet." Felix nervously said, sparing a small smile to the boy.
"No need to be so nervous, Felix. We don't bite." His boss said, sparing a small smile to his boyfriend and to Felix.
"I-I know, I just feel bad..." Felix nervously bit his lip while looking down, recalling all the times he had been so cruel to them. He rarely spoke to both men, hell this was his first time meeting Jisung, but he couldn't help but remember the rare times they interacted.
There were times when Chan was on the phone with Jisung, Felix would scream at him and tell him to get off the phone with that "homo twink" during their college years. Jisung of course heard the screams in the background, as did Minho. Chan also vented a lot to both men, telling them things Felix preferred him not to.
There's been a few other occasions during the years of knowing each other where Felix said some bad things, never apologizing for it either. That's why this situation is so awkward for him.
