Chan woke up that morning to the sound of glass breaking. He quickly jumped out of bed, making his way to the kitchen to see Felix sitting on the floor bleeding.
He had dropped a glass cup on the ground and accidentally cut his finger open on one of the shards.
"Are you okay?" Chan asked, quickly going to Felix's aid and reaching for his hand. The blonde winced in pain, cringing at the sight of all the blood that was falling from his hand.
"Hurry up. Let's get you to the bathroom." Chan said, grabbing Felix by the waist and helping him to his feet. The blonde wanted to protest and run away, but this is the most attention Chan has given him all week.
The younger man blushed at the feeling of Chan's hand on his hips, guiding him gently to the bathroom.
He sat Felix on the lid of the toilet before grabbing out the first aid kit. The brunette used wad of toilet paper to hopefully stop some of the bleeding.
He pulled out some alcohol and ointment for the wound. He gave Felix a look seeking of approval before pouring the alcohol onto his cut. The blonde nodded, moaning at the painful burning sensation that overtook his senses.
"I'm sorry, Lix." Chan softly said before applying the ointment next. He rubbed it gently onto the wound, then wrapped the boy's hand with some gauze.
"That all better?" Chan asked.
"S-sure... Thanks." Felix responded, unsure of how to properly speak to Chan.
"Are you okay?" The brunette asked. Felix couldn't help but grow weak at the older man's kindness. He missed it so much. That was the only reason why he even came back home in all honesty.
The blonde sat there, unable to form words. He just nodded, fidgeting with his hands nervously. He watched as Chan cleaned everything up before making his way out of the bathroom.
"W-wait!" The freckled boy called out, heart growing heavy with anxiety.
"Yes?" Chan asked, nervousness also laced in his tone.
"You didn't text me or call me for a whole week." The blonde said, growing more bitter at the memory of how Chan ignored him.
"I- I'm sorry, I figured that was the best thing to do given what had happened." The older man awkwardly said.
"Did you not think about me once? Do you not care about me anymore?" Felix asked, genuinely hurt.
"I thought about you constantly! I thought about calling and texting you every second of the day, but I knew you needed time alone." Chan said defensively.
"You know I hate being alone, and you know I hate when you ignore me!" Felix shouted, tears of frustration pooling in his eyes.
"You know what I hate?" Chan asked, patience growing thin.
"I hate when people like you think they can do whatever they want and not suffer a consequence for it! You literally kissed me and then stole my car for a whole week! You have yet to even address the issue with me and I highly doubt you ever will!" Chan said through clenched teeth.
"We did talk about the issue! I told you what happened. I told you the truth." The blonde said, bitterly rolling his eyes.
"I don't think you're telling me the full truth, and until then I don't want to talk to you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to be somewhere in twenty minutes." The brunette snapped, brushing his teeth quickly once realising he was gonna be late.
"Where are you going?" Felix questioned.
"I am going out to have coffee with Hyunjin. You remember him, right?" Chan asked.
"Hwang Hyunjin?" Felix questioned, voice shaky and hollow.
"Yes, Lix. Hwang Hyunjin." Chan said in response.
"I-I thought he moved away?" Felix asked, becoming more unstable by the second.
"He's visiting for a week. He will be gone by next Saturday." Chan said, walking into his room to change his clothes. Felix didn't dare leave the older man's side, following closely behind him in his room
"The same faggot I caught you kissing that one day?" The blonde asked while tears streamed from his eyes.
"Stop saying stuff like that!" Chan snapped back, causing the blonde to flinch at the harsh tone. Felix sat down at the edge of Chan's bed, watching him get undressed. He quickly looked away to avoid getting caught.
"Why are you seeing him?" Felix asked, eyes glued to the floor as tears fell.
"Because it's been about 6 years since we've even talked or hung out, and believe it or not Lix, I still care about him as a friend." Chan said, digging through his closet to find a nice shirt.
"I don't want you to go!" Felix said through clenched teeth. He balled his little fists up tightly while tears fell harder and harder.
"I don't understand why you care, but I would also like to know why you're crying." Chan softly spoke, attitude softening when he finally noticed the tears streaming effortlessly down Felix's cheeks.
"I care because I don't want you catching any more diseases. T-the more you hang out with them, the sicker you'll become! You can't be one of them. It's unexceptionable." Felix cried out.
Chan got down on his knees, sitting in between Felix's legs and locking eyes with the blonde.
"You need to understand that them being gay does not make them hazardous or 'contagious' Lix. You really need to stop talking like this. You don't understand how cruel your words really are." Chan spoke softly, trying to see if maybe he could somehow connect with Felix in this very moment.
"Gay people are a cancer to society. They all spread like an uncontrollable wildfire. They are abominations! Homos are fucking disgust-" Chan cut the boy's words short, locking his lips onto Felix's.
The blonde sat there frozen, shaking from all the anxiety that was radiating through every part of his body.
The kiss was awkward at first, neither of them touching anywhere except their lips. Chan kept his mouth still for a few seconds, expecting the blonde to pull away, yet he never did.
He slowly began moving his lips, heart skipping a beat when Felix hesitantly followed suit. He grabbed either side of Felix's face, deepening the kiss further. He expected to be pushed away, yet it still has yet to happen.
His heart melted when Felix grabbed onto the bare shoulder of the older man, kissing back hungrily. Chan slowly stood up, pushing the blonde onto his back on the bed.
Chan waited for it to happen, yet it didn't. He expected the feeling of being pushed away but it never came. Maybe just maybe-
"A-ah!" Felix moaned out, causing both men to stop in their tracks. Felix pulled away quickly, covering his lips while his face burned a fiery red color.
"G-get away from me!" Felix screamed, kicking Chan hard in the stomach before running out of the room.
It happened. He knew such things were too good to be true yet for some reason he had hoped that maybe it would be different.
Chan toppled over in pain, clutching onto his abs while he coughed harshly. Sure Felix wanted to get away, but did he really have to kick him?
He was definitely going to be late to his coffee date with Hyunjin.
