Kate flirting?! Really??

Kate ran straight upstairs to the loo, proably to re-tie her hair and look perfect for when we go to finally meet Josh. I went straight into the kitchen, grabbed a sandwich and logged onto 'facebook' in my moms laptop.

OMG! What if it's Nico?? What if it isn't? But what if he's unfriended me, not wanting to ever make contact with a weirdo like me? Maybe it's an ALIEN! An alien who has invaded Nico's body and chatted to me, and now the alien's left and Nico is confused and thinking who the hell is he talking to... Goddam! Just read it! OMG!OMG! OH MY HOLY CRACKERS! Did Nico just call me cute? AND winkey faced me for the third time??? WOOOW! Ok, I'm definitely sure that he likes me now! I mean, why else would you call someone cute and winkey face them three times?!

By the time Kate came down from the bathroom, I was squeling with excitement, jumping around the whole kitchen.

"What's wrong? Have you hurt you foot? Are you okay? Sit down!" She started yelling, flustered, actually thinking that I was hurt.

"I'm fine! But it's Nico! He fb messaged me!!" I started to do the samba

"When?! What does it say? Let me see!" She seemed to be just as excited as me

I pointed at the laptop, as I carried on danxing in this weird style jiggy thing, Kate, after reading the message squeled and joined me. My mom suddenly burst through the door, asking what in the world we were doing.

"Dancing" I replied, jiggling my hips around.

My mother laughed full heartly and left us to our crazy dance moves.

"Come on! Let's get out there!" I said as I made my way towards the door, whilst doing the 'macarena'

Kate and I shut the door behind us and led the way towards where Josh is most likely to hang out: The Field. The field is a ginormous patch of land that the council has left for us to play around in, although there are no swings or slides.

Just as I'd thought, Josh and His little gang of wannables were hanging out, playing football. Shirtless. I laughed because they were trying so hard to look tough or hot but neither was working because their bony little bodies had no muscle on them what-so-ever!

"Hahaha! You can't really have a crush on that!" I laughed

"Don't be like Gina..." Kate said, feeling very uncomfortable.

"Sorry... Look. Let's go talk to him, just randomly chat him up" I suggested

"Noooo!!! No, no, no, no! I can't! Lets just watch from a distance!" Kate shook her head.

"Puh-lease! Come on!" I dragged Kate by the arm, straight towards Josh and co.

"What you doing?" I asked, dropping my good girl act.

"Nothing," Josh replied, looking straight over my shoulder at Kate

"This is Kate, my cousin. The other one's not here" I told him directly, looking at Bailey because he was getting ready to 'de-bag' Josh. I was waiting for the moment when Josh got 'de-bagged' when he turned around and grabbed Bailey by the shirt and dropped him to the ground.

I started to laugh helplessly. I love the view of a 'floring match', street for who can knock people down to the ground the fastest. Kate looked at me unsteadily, just as Josh finnished his little match.

"Hey, you wanna play?" He asked Kate

"You stupid?" I asked him back although it was a rethorical question

"Sure" Kate said, not taking any notice of me.

Well that was that. Kate spent the rest of the day playing around and actually flirting with Josh whilst I wanted to get home and message Nico.

I'm so glad for Kate, her love life is so much simpler than mine... I just remembered that I'm not allowed to date. Never have, never will be. That might be a problem...
