By the time Kate had finnished chatting away to Josh it was already 9.30 pm, I was excited to talk to Nico again, since we have some sort of silent agreement as to come online at 10pm, although none of us had suggested this, we always do.
"Sooo! What did you guys speak about??" I was ready to hear all of the gossip
"Nothing!" Kate exclaimed and blushed, giving herself away
"You're blushing! It's something! Tell me! Tell me!" I squelled like a little child, unnable to control myself. As excited for her her as I was for myself.
"Well... He said I'm pretty" She blushed a deep crimson
"ANNNDD??" I pushed her, wanting to get all of the details. She snapped and started giggling wildly and telling me in detail and reading quotes from their chat.
"Well... he said he liked me, and he though I was pretty.. look there... and... He asked me if I wanted to outside with him tomorrow!" She took a breath
"What?! You mean like a date? You beat me to the dating-"
"No! Not like that! He asked me if I wanted to come out and play football with him!" She looked down
"hahahah! Awwww! So he took three hours to ask you to play football with him? The poor guy! He has serious shyness problems! hahahah!" I laughed, unable to get a grip.
"Same as you and Nico! He hasn't even asked you out!" She lifted her chin up
"Well, we're, uh, taking things slow" I stuttered
"Yeah, right... anyway what did you talk about to Faye?" She changed subject.
Wise move too, because I was starting to get slightly uncomfortable at her sneery comments, I mean, If we want to take it slow, then we can right? There's people out there who take years to get to know each other before they date, right?... right?!
"What if he doesn't ask me out?" I asked, suddenly nervous "What if he presumes I am just being friendly??" Now I was really freaking out!
"No way! Don't worry! He's sooo gonna ask you out! Just wait and see! Like Swift would sing 'So, don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine and-"
"Life makes love work hard!" We sang together "The stakes are high! The water's rough... but this love is ours!"
Somehow this song suited my postion exactly...
"So, what are you waiting for! Get online and chat to lover boy!" Kate teased
I logged onto my facebook account and saw that Nico was online, straight away I clicked on his name and began one of our regular chats:
