Auditions and Dates... perfect combinaton!

All day in school I could not focus, I kept slipping away into my own world, imagining what our date will be like, imagining what he'll be like! So many things were tumbling round in my head! I had never been so eager to get school over and done with, since I am one of those girls who actually enjoys school.

At lunch time, during band practise I finally couldn't take it any longer and burst out to Kendall "Whyy... is...the...day...sooo....long?!" I breathed

"Well I dunno... Gosh we have Music next as well..." She groaned, we all knew how much she hated Mrs Perry.

I didn't mind music, it might take my mind off things and help me relax... Probably not!

When the final bell rang I was soo relieved! I got into my jacket, and hurried off to my cousins form room, unable to control my eagerness. I abrubtly stopped in the middle of the hallway and ran backwards towards the bathroom, suddenly realising that I needed to check my hair! I got into the bathroom and looked into the mirror.

Thank God I decided to come back and check! My hair was starting to curl at the sides even though it was in a bun (I decided to do a bun since he said he liked girl's hair up and since my hair was really not listening to me in the morning). I took out my hairbrush and brushed through the sides, I got out my lip balm and started applying when:-

"I thought I'd find you here!" Kate appeared at the bathroom door, laughing at me

"What?! A girl needs to look good or at least prepared for such honors, you'll learn in due time my dear!" I spoke like some 1960's bride!

"I highly doubt that!" She copied my tone

"Whatever! You seem to be having a love affair with that raggamuffin down the road... what's his name dear? Junior?" I carried on fascade

"Josh!" She implied "And I do not!"

"Whatever!" I raised my eyebrow and we linked arms and made our way towards the school's studio.

"D'you reckon I could get the leading part?" I asked, being proper dramatic.

"Of course you can honey!" She replied, equally as dramatic

We got into the studio where Mrs Humphries handed us a page of a script and got us into groups of three. We were told to go into the drama room and practise and decide on roles until our names were called.

I was in a group with two other girls I did not know, and as we stood there together, simply scanning the lines and roles we split into the characters we wanted to act. I was 'Telulah' The show off who had a 'Geordie shore' accent and was chewing bubble gum.

Soon enough Mrs Humphries called for our group to make our way into the studio. Maddison was in the studio, performing whilst we were waiting outside and when she came out ahe gave me a double thumbs up and a smile. Translation: You go girl!

"Don't worry 'bout it hun!" I said in my fake accent, and paused whilst chewing gum "I'll do that!"

"Oh, like the time you did the papers, the bills, the credit cards?!" The unknown year 8 girl called out frustrated, walking around the space we had and glaring at me

"Jheez! Hun! Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm here for what I'm here for!" I said innocently playing with my hair and pulling dirty looks at her

"Now, now! You Tululah will take care of this" Said the girl who was playing the boss

"But... but-" I began, looking really narked

"No buts" The boss girl said

"I hate you!" I cried and stomped off towards the door

"Bravo!" Mrs Humphries called and smiled at me.

Great Audition... I could feel it!

I  walked out of the studio with a certain intention of getting a leading role! I linked arms with Kate and we walked out of the school.

As we walked down the hill, my knees trembled slightly and I just felt suddenly nervous, thinking and re-thinking about what I was gonna say and do when we actually get there! I looked at Kate who looked as relaxed as usual and wondered how she does it... Being around boys doesn't seem to have the same effect it does on me... I'll link it luck...

"You're nervous!" Kate pointed out after a couple of minutes of walking

"Well no shit sherlock! Of course I am! I barelytalk to this guy... I mean, person to person! I can barely put the cute chatty and flirty guy together with the badass football playing hottie!" I said, finally showing some real emotion

"Well..." She began and then let her mouth hang open

"Well...?" I repeated

"Well... I don't know! I have no expierence! It's a 'no go' zone for me" She stuttered

"Yeah right, like you and Josh aren't together!" I implied, practically sneering.

After about 10 minutes of walking and every 10 seconds of checking my phone for the time, we arrived by the stream with one minute to spare! I made plans with Kate, telling her to wait for us, but she just complained that its cold and I told her that I'd do the same for her, so she just gave in.

I stood by the trees so that my aunt couldn't see me through the windows. No one must know! At least not yet... And that's when I saw him.. In light tanned 'chino's' and a grey jacket, walking down the field...towards me!
