I walked into my aunts house as if I'd been living there my whole life and walked straight into the living room, where Kate's parents, My aunt and her husband, their daughter: Leila, and Gina. For a moment there I felt the urge to run up to her and bitch slap her, but then I felt a comforting hand on my shoulder. Turning around, I realised it was Kate and she must've noticed the way my jaw was clenching.

I released my jaw and carried on being cheery, saying hello and kissing my aunties and shaking hands with my uncles. I picked Leila up and spun her around until she squirmed, then put her back down whilst Kate and I went upstairs to her room.

"He's outside!" Kate splutter, covering the window with her face, her nose thrust upwards, looking like a pig.

"Hey! Movie outta the way before you scare him! Pig!" I shoved her to the side and started gawping myself.

"DAAAAMMMNN! He's hoootttt....." I said each word slowly so that the window fogged up.

"Yup! But he's yours, remember that!" Kate exclaimed

"OMG!OMG!OMG! LOOK! Gina's out!" I pulled Kate towards the window

"Huh? What she doing outside? Unless... aha, yep, just as I thought. They're going for yet another one of their long walks..."

"Well don't just stand there gawping! Follow them! I want to find out if this relationship is real or what!" I looked out of the window one final time as Kate and I began to stumble down the stairs, trying to outrun each other...
