He loved it when I called him wonderboy, and somehow it seemed to suit him perfectly! He was so mysterious to others, but whenever he spoke to me he was so open about everything from his way of life to his past. I felt a tug of sympathy at the pit of my stomach for him, because he had confided in me and told me that his mother had refused him at the age of 9, and that his dad was an alcoholic so he moved out to is aunts'. I don't blame him, I could see that he'd had a very hard life, and maybe me and him...together... would make it that much easier, because I love talking to him, and listening to him...

NicoMartineas: It was amazing!! The music group is mostly my friends, so everything was pretty easy... We done a cover to 'shut up and drive by rihanna' today and it went amazing! everyone knew exactly what they were playing! If you want you can check it out on youtube... I was on bass, and this girl,Amy, was singing and my mate was on drums...

I let him drone on, I enjoyed the topic of the conversation very much, I wrote the correct replies when needed and asked the correct questions, wondering when he would ask me out. He told me he had a band, and that he played keyboard and guitar, I wanted to hear him sing too! His voice was so sexy!

After about half an hour of conversation, my mom told me we had to go to bed, and I had to do the task I hate the most: Say goodbye.

After we'd said our goodbye's I switched the laptop off and gave it to my mom and lay on my make-shift bed on the floor, since it was my week to sleep on the floor. I turned over and looked directly into Kate's eyes.

"Kate?" I whispered

"Yeah?" She whispered back

"Do you... do you think I'm pretty enough for Nico?" I said uncertainly

"What?! Of course!" She said, forgetting the volume of her voice, then lowering it "Darling, I know Nico's a hunk, but you're beautiful! He would've have asked you out otherwise!"

"But that's it! He HASN'T asked me out... If I'm too ugly then-" I began

"No! Don't think about that! He'll ask you out! I'm certain! Anyways, you can't think like this about yourself! You're beautiful and don't you forget it!" She said triumphantly

"But-"

"No buts! Now sleep otherwise you'll have great big, purple bags under your eyes in the morning AND you have school tomorrow!" She scorned me

"Hey! I already have bags under my eyes! And you've got school too missy!" I scorned back

"Whatever! You do not! Now shut up and sleep!" She pouted

"'Kay" I said and turned over and closed my eyes

I didn't sleep immediately sleep though, not for a long while yet, my mind was pre-occupied with the thoughts of the romantic way Nico would ask me out, and the fairytale ending I've always dreamed of...
