My Besties!

"How are you all?! I've missed you sooo much!" I screamed as soon as I walked into my form room

Ninth grade. Damn it feels weird... I mean, my birthday is only two days away... I cannot wait to be 14 and the third oldest in the class! Seeing my friends sitting there, casually, like they always do, makes me want to yell and hug them to death because I had missed them so much! Faye was the first to reply to me, by hugging me closely.

"I'vemissed you soo much!" She whispered in my ear

"Me too" I said.  I adore Faye. She's portuguese and the girl who changed my whole fashion life! No honestly, if it weren't for her I'd still think cargo pants were cool!

I walked up behind Mya and hugged her tightly and fluffed her crazy curls "How are you?" I asked, sympathy in my voice.

"I'm fine babe! Had a great break! What about you?" She asked whilst drinking her hot chocolate.

"Omg! I need to tell you all about it!" I screamed as I went around in a circle and hugged all of my girls in turn "Ok, so there was this guy..."

"We're listening..." They all chorused

I laughed and contiued "Well, he's pretty amazing, like his name's Nico Martineas and he's really, really hot! And guess what?!" I suddenly screeched, remembering a special fact that would surely get their approval.

"What?" Maddison asked

"He sings!!"

"Arghhhh!" The girls crowded around me and we started to do this weird jumping around routine to express our excitedment.

I then told them all everything I know about him. You see, I don't keep secrets form my bestie, sure many people say that but when it actually comes down to secrets they usually haven't told any, but with my girls... well I've told them everything!

"He seems like the right guy for you!" Kendall exclaimed, knowing and understanding my insecurity

"Definitely! And he seems to like you!" Faye added

"When do we get to meet him?" Zoe asked.

"I dunno! We're not even dating yet!" I said, a shocked expression on my face

"Not yet, but he will ask you out... trust me" Mya looked me in the eye.

I stared back and laughed "And who are you? The luuurrve doctor?" I asked sarcastically

"I may be. You just don't know it yet. I don't know it yet" She said in a very serious tone, looking puzzled at her own speech

"So where's your cousin?" Asked Maddison

"Oh, she's in year 8. I think it was 8W..." I replied, staring off into the distance and finding myself switching off whilst normal conversations contiued all around me. I felt myself wondering about what Nico was doing and if he thought of me...

"Damn!" I jumped

"French it is" Zoe muttered under her breath
