What?!

And that was that... for the next couple of weeks, untill about two weeks untill the end of the summer holidays, I hadn't uttered a word in Gina's direction, or even looked at her for the matter. I had had enough of her snobiness and her 'omg!I'm so beautiful!' speechess, and I'm guessing that she had gotten bored of Me and my family, probably because of the many times my mother had had to nag at her to either do the washing up or even simple things like turning the lights off when she leaves the room. You gotta undestand my mom, she's not being unkind or disrespectful, she's just a clean freak, she likes things in order, neat and tidy. It isn't a bad thing is it? 

Gina, Kate and her parents somehow came to a decision: to try staying at my aunt's house. I don't now where the idea came from, honestly, no idea. But at the end of the day Gina and co, left my house to apparantly stay at my aunts for four days, I didn't underrstand what the aim in this was... Kate didn't even want to go, Gina did... hell yeah she did! I wanted her to go too.. my mom was pretty offended, I mean even I was but then my mom said to Kate's mom 'if you want to go, go. Find the place in which you feel more comfortable' which, from what I could understand was the final straw and my mom definitely wouldn't invite them back to ours.... shame really... I was starting to really like Kate.... 

So early the next morning they went off, Kate honestly didn't want to go, I could see it in her eyes. Gina was the first one out of the door, bounding down the stairs as if a wild monkey was chasing after her, I couldn't help but snigger. hah! Is she really that scared of Me? Good. 

When they left the house, everything felt strangely awkward, like something was missing. I felt out of place.... 

Four days go past. Every day is spent relaxing, tanning, reading romantics or horrors or doing chores. Don't get Me wrong, it's a nice break, but a bit boring. I don't go to my aunt's house, wasn't really allowed to. My mom was clearly more upset than she was letting on, so she literally forbade Me going over there, and I didn't resist, I mean, maybe just like she said, they could've wanted a break from us... 

After a couple more days, I started to wonder if they were ever gonna come back, not that I'd want Gina back, but I was starting to really miss Kate. One day, when my mom was in the house and I'd told her that I was just going outside, I ran down to my aunt's house. I wanted to surprise Kate and maybe get a glimpse of Nico? 

When I walked in through the back door, dissappointed because Nico wasn't out, I'd hugged Kate straight away. She turned back but didn't smile, in fact her face looked shocked, sad even.

"Monika! what are you doing here?" she gasped

" What am I suddenly not welcome? uh oh.... what's wrong?" my face suddenly became serious

" I.... erm. don't get mad at Me, but... urgh! I'm just gonna say it! Gina's dating Nico!"
