Coral, past crushes and near future

I ran out of my door, as quick as I could and ran across the road. Luckily for me, my best friend (round my area-does not include my besties in school a.k.a band members) Coral lives only across the road, I knocked the door and she answered it.

"OMG! You need to come outside! I need to talk to you!" I exclaimed

"Okayyy" She whined, shut the door and I motioned for her to go sit on the wall with me.

"Okay, so there's this guy-"

"I'm listening" Coral stood up straighter with more enthusiasm. I giggled and carried on.

"Well.... you won't believe it but... I have a boyfriend!" I whisper-cried, just in case someone was listening in on us

"Argghhhh!" Coral shreaked with me

"OMG! Since when bitch! You haven't told me this,... nuh-ah!" She put some attitude on her speech

"Well oficially since today! Arghhh! I didn't want to say anything untill I was sure" I shreaked, suddenly too excited to care

"So go on, tell me 'bout this lucky fella!" Coral wriggled her eyebrows, making me laugh

"Okay" I took a deep breath and began "Well, it's this guy that lives down my aunts area... He's super cute! I'll show you his facebook later....anyways, we'd been talking for weeks on end..."

"And right about now, I just came back from my third date with him!" I started dancing around, Coral joining in.

"OMG! Bitch! You stole my future boyfriend!" She laughed "He sings...he's hunky...cute...intelligent....and a good kisser!" Coral teased

My cheeks started to flush at her last comment, and I was in awe as I rarely ever blush.

Out of nowhere Coral ran straight at me and hugged me so tight, I could barely breathe. "Congrats, you deserve a bit of happiness"

"Okay," She pulled me back to the bench and sat down, looking eagerly at me "Tell me 'bout today!"

"Okay, so...I went down there, and as I was walking down towards the street I saw someone sitting by the stream; which was obviously him. So I approached him and-

"Wait! What did you wear?!" Coral interrupted

I started laughing, unnable to control myself. At seeing her straight face, the total serious look in her eyes I asked "Seriously?"

"Dead serious... girl gotta look smokin'" She replied, putting on a jamaican accent; which she gets from her dads side of the family

"OMG! What if I looked really bad? Oh...what if..."

"Tell me what you wore! Then I'll tell you if you're okay" She said sternly

"Uh...Okay, I wore my hair like this" I said pointing at my braids and fringe

"Kay. Hair, pass!" She smiled, looking like some sort of scout

"My outfit... I wore my converse, blue skinny jeans, a normal plain top, and baseball jacket" I said, looking down at my leggings, skirt and knitted jacket, thanking god I didn't wear this on the date.

"Okay... pass, pass, pass and PASS! Sista, you done it! The guy is deffo in love with ya!" She smiled proudly at me

"Uh-huh? And how do you know, miss-I've-never-dated-anyone-yet?" I said, my heart racing at the thought of him loving me...let alone liking me, although I think we've both established the fact that he likes me, otherwise he wouldn't have kissed me!

"Trust me on this babe" She looked so sophisticated I couldn't help laughing.

"So, what about Jacian?" Coral inquired as we started walking around the block

"What about him?" I asked, looking innocent

"Well... do you still fancy him?"

"No!"

"Hmhm..." she trailed of, looking directly at me.

Just as we came around a bend, to my bad luck, we saw Jacian, his cousin and all of the other boys; including Bailey, Josh and Levi standing around in a group. I wanted to turn around, but it was too late as Bailey had already spotted me.

At the sight of Jacian, my five-summer crush, I blushed and looked anywhere apart from that direction.

"Whatever! You do still fancy him!" Coral squeled in sudden realisation.

"Hmhm, I may do... I guess five years wasn't enough for my poor heart" I acted dramatically, suddenly remembering that the cast list of the play 'Cinderella' was due to be out on Monday.

I was suddenly so excited that I couldn't walk, I had to do a slight skip. This day was just perfect... I'd just hoped it would last...
