'Till wednesday...

Days had passed, two weeks in total. School was amazing and life itself was brilliant! Conversations with Nico seemed to get more and more personal, less restricted and more comfortable. I was kept busy in school with band practise and auditions for the school play of 'Cinderella'.

On a particularly exciting day, after coming home my mother had presented me with a late birthday present which was a Tablet!! I was so happy because I had my own device, something that was privately mine, and it had interenet acces but best of all... I could talk to Nico everyday for as long as I want... That's what made my grin become as wide as the cheshire cat in 'Alice in wonderland'.

I thanked my mother thoroughly, making sure she understood my appreciation and rushed off to my room to experiment! Kate and I spent the night downloading apps and taking videos and editing photos and just going wild, and also preparing for my audition for 'Cinderella' the following morning.

At 10pm I logged onto my facbook, prepared for yet another chat with Nico:

NicoMartineas: Heeey!! how are you?! x

Monzika: AMAZING! how are you? omg! You wont belive what I got for my birthday... although this is a bit late and random...

NicoMartineas: Awesome! What?!x

Monzika: A tablet!! Yay! So that means I can talk to you more often! ;)

NicoMartineas: Great! I can talk to you more often! hahah! xx

Monzika: You on your phone? x

NicoMartineas: Yup ;)

Monzika: Hahaha! You're such a flirt! I love it! x

NicoMartineas: ;), hey, um, so I wanted to ask you something... x

Monzika: What is it? x

My heart was suddenly beating faster, I knew something important was gonna come next, and I was hoping that he would ask me out... but what if he was just about to tell me that he doesn't like me this way? What if he thinks I'm too ugly? Surely he cannot be that shallow? shut up and wait for him to explain! My inner-goddess scolded me.

NicoMartineas: I hope you don't think I'm being too forward or anything but...

Monzika: Too forward? Hahah! No way! Please proceed!

NicoMartineas: uh, okay... anyway... would you uh, like to meet me sometime next week?

My mouth fell open and I squeled out loud! Yesss!!

Monzika: You mean like a date?!

NicoMartineas: Yeah.. if you don't want to just say! I mean, not being too forward hopefully, but I really really like you and...

Monzika: And I like you too! Sure we can meet up! When?

NicoMartineas: How's 'bout wednesday? I have no college so I'm off... And if you wanna meet after school?

Monzika: I kinda have auditions, but sure, after auditions... so about 4:15pm?

NicoMartineas: Sure..;) phew! That was so much easier than I thought!

OMG! He did it!! He asked me out!! Yayaya! I jumped up and started dancing around my room... feeling like my fairytale had only just begun!
