Adopted by Zalfie

Chapter 16

After coming out of the mall with Joe, Caspar, Alexus, Madi, and about a thousand shopping bags, we decided to head back to the Zalfie House.

"These shorts are bae." Madi exclaimed, holding up a pair of navy blue shorts. 

Alexus ripped them out of her hands. "Get your own damn shorts."

I laughed and Madi put her arm around me. "You are s Zoe's twin, i swear." She smiled, and looked up at Joe who was watching in the mirror. 

"Oh? How so?" i teased. She put her finger o her chin like she was thinking.

"Your laugh. Its like a clone to Zoe's. Your eyes. Your personality. Your hair, everything. Its like you were meant to be her kid."

I smiled and looked down at my feet. "Thanks."

It was pretty silent in the car, just full of smiled and happiness. 

"That was adorable." Caspar blurted out, breaking the awkwardness.

We all laughed and i ruffled his hair from my seat. He giggled and fixed it in the mirror.

We stopped at our destination and we all left the car so the four could say hi to Zoe and Alfie and i could return home. We walked in to a very cheerful Zoe.

"Hi guys!" She chirped. "Y'all have fun?"

We nodded and Joe gave her a small hug. "Yes, and Maya made it better." He walked over to me next and swooped me up. I giggled and he flipped me upside down so i was hanging by my feet, seeing everyone upside down. Alfie entered the room and waved to me. "Hello, little one!"

Joe flipped me back and held me out to Alfie, who then hugged me while i was still in the air. I dont think im ever gunna touch the ground again with these people.

Alfie eventually put me down from the giant bear hug. Caspar stretched out his arms and i ran into them too. Caspar was so cuddly.

"Thanks for hanging out with us. I know, Madi kinda stinks, but I think we can get used to the smell." I laughed and Madi smacked the back of his head. He said.

"Hey you." she laughed. "Ill stuff you in Pippin and Percy's cage and you wont be getting out any time soon till Zoe feeds them."

Everyone laughed and Caspar hid behind Alexus, who was holding her stomach from laughing. After the huge argument and laughter, we finally said goodbye. We all sat down on the couch and Alfie held a sleeping Nala. 

"So, what did you guys do?" Zoe asked, smiling

I exlained to them what we did and showed Zoe my endless supply of clothing. Zoe got over excited and made me try on every bit of clothing i got. Eventually, it got late and we all crawled into bed after saying goodbye to the Melexus/Jaspar group.
