Adopted by Zalfie

Chapter 8

Zoe's Pov

We arrived at the Zalfie House! Maya got out of the car and Alfie took her bag inside. I open the door for us and Maya walks in and looks up and down the house.

"Its beautiful!" She says happily.

We smile. All of a sudden, we heard little tiny taps running our way. Alfie and I both already know.

"Nala!" Maya exclaims as the tiny black pug ran over to her. She pets her, making the pug lie down and get comfortable on the floor. "Aww."

Alfie and I both laugh. "She seems to like you already!" Alfie cackles.

"You want a Zalfie House tour?" I ask.

Maya stops petting Nala and nods at me. "Please!"

We walk around the house, showing Maya every room and telling her where we film our videos. Then we get to her room.

"You'll be sleeping here." Alfie says. "Is that okay?"

Her eyes widen. "Its the biggest room I've ever had! Thank you so much, for everything." She said as she hugs us both.

I feel so much sadness for her inside. This room is probably not the biggest out of the house, and she says it's still bigger than she has ever had.

I need to know the back round story on this little girl and find out how she has been so strong and held on so well.
