Chapter 35

June second, 4 more days til the break is over. I get dressed and put on some makeup. I made my everyday makeup routine blush, concealer, eyeliner on the bottom, and mascara.

I am getting better at makeup too. It's actually really fun and easy. I walk downstairs to see no one.

"Alfie? Zoe?" I ask.

No answer.

Hm, it's already 10. They are always up by this time. I walk into their room to see no one. Even Nala is gone.

I walk into the basement. All the lights are off. I click on the lights.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" Everyone yells. I scream and run back into the wall.

Everyone laughs. "What is going on?" I almost yell.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYA!" They yelled.

My heart is beating so fast. I walk all the way downstairs to see the whole YouTube family.

Zoe, Alfie, Joe, Marcus, Niomi, Jim, Tanya, Jack, Finn, Dan, Phil, Tyler, Troye, Alexus, Caspar, Madi, Louise, Felix, and Marzia.

"OH my god!" I yelled. "Hi everyone!"

They all said hi. "It's my birthday?" I asked.

"Yes, June 2!" Zoe squealed, over excitedly.

There's balloons, streamers, cameras, Christmas lights, presents, and a cake.

"You guys are crazy!" I yelled. "But thank you!"

They all came over and hugged me.

Later on, the party is still on. We've played some party games, swam in the pool, played loud music, and ate cake.

They even put balloons outside! The only thing left to do is presents.

I got lots of clothes, paint brushes, paints, beanies, and everything a 13 year old could ever want.

I haven't opened Zalfies presents yet. There's a lot. There is a small one, a big one, a medium sized one, and they say there's another one.

"Now Maya, these are pretty good presents." Alfie teased. "You better give me a hug after them."

I nodded while laughing. "Which one first?"

"OPEN THE BIG ONE!" A voice yelled out, that I recononized as Dan.

"Okay." I listened.

I opened the wrapping (which was wrapped to perfection) and I found something that could easily make me die.

"A BLUE MACBOOK?????" I screamed.

Everyone cheered and laughed. "OH MY GOD!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I yelled, looking at Zalfie. I got up to give then a hug.

"Wait, open the others first." Alfie says. I nodded, super excited already.

I open the medium sized one. "OH MY GOD!" I yelled again.

"What is it?" A voice called out.

"THE CAMERA ZOE AND ALFIE USE FOR THEIR VIDEOS!" I yelled, getting up to huh them again.

"Maya open the last one!" Alfie yelled, laughing.

"Thank you so much!!" I said on the brink of crying. I've never been this happy before. Well, except when I got adopted.

"Okay, last one." I open the last one.

"AHHHHHHHH" I squealed, running over to Zalfie this time. I jumped in their arms and squeezed tightly.

"Your welcome Maya." Zoe laughed.

"Your welcome." Alfie smiled.

"What is it?" Phil asked.

"An IPhone 8!" *remember this is two years later haha*

Everyone cheered again even louder.

"Okay okay everyone, here's the grand finale." Alfie laughed, holding a box with a blanket on it.

"What more can you possibly buy?" I said, laughing. "Thus must've been a fortune!"

"Just open it." Zoe smiled.

I took the box. It's very heavy and feels weird. I take off the blanket to see a black guinea pig with a very fluffy white patch on its head.

"Oh...my...God...."

"What is it?" Phil asked again.

"A GUINEA PIGGGG!" I yelled reaching my hand in to pet it.

"Oh my god!" Phil said as he ran over to see. "Awwww."

We were both petting the guinea pig and I ran over to Zalfie and hugged them again.

"Thanks for making my life better." I whispered in their ears.

They hugged me tighter.
