I sleep in, since it's Saturday, till 11. Alfie comes running into my room fully dressed. "MAYAAAAAA LET'S GO GET ZOE!"

My eyes open lightly and I wave away at him. "Too lazyyyyyy."

"What??" He yells, surprised. "Its Zoe!"

Then my eyes shoot open. "Oh, OH!" I jump out of the bed and run right past Alfie. "I'm not getting dressed let's gooooo!"

We drive down to the hospital. Zoe is on her phone texting Alfie when we arrive. She's also in a wheelchair and the nurse beside her is holding krutches and pain meds.

She looks up and smiles as her family entering the room. I run over and hug her. "Your coming home!"

She smiles and pats me on the back. "Yes I ammmmm!"

Alfie kisses her and we thank the nurses as we leave, Alfie pushing Zoe's chair out.

I open the door for them and she hoists herself into the seat with Alfie helping along. I fold and put the wheelchair in the trunk and climb in the back.

"Zoe we brought a surprise!"

She turns her head in my direction. "Did you?"

I nod and pull out Nala from beside my feet. She squeals and takes her onto her lap, Nala rapidly squirming and licking Zoe's face.

We all laugh at that as Alfie drives us home. "I'm excited to see my guinea pigs too." Zoe whines.

Alfie laughs. "Almost home."

Jeanas pov

I've been here less than a week and I already hate it. Every time a person comes into the shop, they go to the kids. I'd rather just live on the streets Is that an option?

At least I don't have to see the people at school. Except for Sam and Maya, cuz I want to see them.

All I do here is sit and watch out the window. The babies across the hallway are so annoying at night because they cry every 5 seconds.

Every time one baby cries, it makes 4 others cry. And it makes me wanna cry because I hate them. Like, who would want to adopt that when you can adopt something that does poop itself, drool on everything, and cry every 5 seconds?
