(Tsunade's POV)

I held on to the small twinkling jewel in my hand. The sun rising in the distance cast an orange hue on it making the color change.
The time in Konoha was currently 8 am, and from my window, I could see the other Akatsuki members coming through the front gate in a hurry. I turned my chair and faced forward to my desk and put the necklace into a small jewelry box before closing it shut.

Soon I heard the footsteps of the Akatsuki running through the building and bursting through my office door. I looked up from my desk and met the almost greaving eyes of all the members. They entered and shut the door before standing before my desk.

Kisame: What happened to Itachi!?!

I could see the evident fear and frusteration deep in his eyes.

Tsunade: A man disguised himself as an Anbu member and pretended to watch over Itachi. He managed to gain his trust and used it to his advantage.

Kisame: How did you guys not catch him!!? Are you people some idiots for not realizing it!!

I looked at Kisame dead in the eye and stood up from my chair while slamming my hands on my desk and shouted.

Tsunade: He's dead Kisame, Itachi to defend himself ended up killing him! Now don't go pointing your fingers at others when you know damn well that you had something to do with it as well!! If you would have stayed in the village as I proposed you to do then none of this would have happened! If you would have decided to stay and fix problems with Itachi instead of running then you would have gotten the chance to kill the man yourself, don't guilt-trip others to redeem yourself!!

Kisame was about to lean forward to meet my gaze when Pain pushed him back a bit.

Pain: Cool it, Kisame!

Kisame backed off and groaned in frustration. I sat back down in my rolling chair and pulled out a file from my desk drawer before handing it to pain who opened it and frowned.

Pain: What are these?

Tsunade: Those are pictures that Itachi gave Fugaku or his father a few days ago. As you may already know, these Uchiha members were found with missing eyes and dead in alleyways.

I pulled out a small note from my pocket that Kakashi and Obito brought me earlier this morning before handing it to Konan.

Tsunade: This letter was given to me by Tobi and Kakashi this morning. I feel as if these two things are connected along with Itachi's case.

Kisame: How do you know that?

I stared back at Kisame who seemed to have calmed down and sat back in my chair as the others stared in confusion.

Tsunade: This letter was given to Tobi 16 years ago when the Kyuubi and he attacked the village. Itachi was only around 5 years old when that happened. A small boy close to his age gave that letter to Tobi and disappeared.

Konan scanned the letter before handing it to Kisame who also read it and had a perplexed look.

Tsunade: I know the letter is hard to understand, but Tobi and Kakashi managed to decipher it. The prodigy child mentioned is Itachi, and the first one killed is-
