Tempting

//One Week Later- Author's POV// 

Shuffling and whispers often filled Itachi and Kisame's home while they were away. Left and right were people setting down decorations and balloons to the point that the whole place looked like a party clown had vomited all over. Deidara stood on the sidelines taking quick glances at the decorations making sure everything was in the correct order for his best friend's and his boyfriend's welcoming party. He hummed in content before walking over to Obito who was just finishing up readying Katsumi. The small child had a big bright smile as he glanced around at all the pretty colors. 

"It's so cool," he said excitedly while jumping up and down. Some of the guests laughed and giggled at his antics before Naruto and Sai rushed inside through the front door. 

"They're coming!!!" both of the members of team 7 said before everyone scrabbled to hide.  Obito made sure to keep Katsumi quiet as he giggled in his lap too overly excited about the whole plan. The lights were completely off and some of the decorations slightly fanned around in the air. 

The front door opened and the sound of bags landing on the ground alerted the others that the pair had finally stepped inside. There were some slight noises going on, but they ignored it before jumping up and yelling.

"SURPRISE!!!-" 

The loud voices of everyone came to a halt as they saw the sight in front of them. Itachi and Kisame were pressed up against the wall almost eating each other's faces off before jumping away at the loudness of the guest. Deidara stood there smirking at his friend who was blushing in the brightest hue of red. Kisame chuckled at his partner's reaction to it all before thanking everyone for the surprise celebration. 

"I did not want to see that," Sasuke commented as he shook his head. Itachi glared at his brother while still blushing before finally commenting about his return. 

"Well, I didn't expect you two to get back so soon. Thought y'all would've waited a bit," he said before glancing down at Naruto's stomach. Naruto blushed and turned to hit Sasuke who was left completely dumbfounded. 

"Why'd you do that?!" Naruto only huffed before lecturing him. 

"It's your fault that I'm like this, Teme" Naruto said. Itachi laughed and simply walked away before approaching Katsumi who ran up to him and jumped into his arms. He returned the affection by smothering the small child in kisses and hugs which only incited the tiny being to laugh and giggle. "Glad you're looking better," Fugaku said as he came close. Itachi smiled and glanced over to Kisame who was talking to Kakashi and Obito about what he assumed was business before looking back at his father. 

"Yeah, thanks to you and Kisame." Fugaku put one of his hands up and patted Itachi's shoulder affectionately.

 "The thanks should go more to Kisame than me. You've clearly got yourself hooked onto someone that I feel will value you more than himself," he said quietly. Itachi's mouth was slightly agape as he stared at his father before reaching over to him and hugging him tightly. His father was surprised by the action but hugged right back. Itachi knew that his father had finally accepted his love, and all he could feel was warmth towards the opening thought.

"Y-You're squishing me Mama-" Fukagu and Itachi quickly pulled away before looking down at Katsumi who was still in his arms with a present pout on his face. Both of the grown-ups laughed a bit before the night continued to go smoothly. Everyone was talking about multiple things about current events including trying to get Kisame up to date with everything that was going on. 

They mentioned how Madara and Yui were journeying with their children along with the news that Obito began to expand the Akatsuki even more. Now more people were welcome to join as long as they were willing to abide by the rules. This did seem to please him as he laughed along with the others about the training sessions they had going on. Many of the new recruits were apparently very intimidated by Zetsu and Kakuzu to the point that they wouldn't last a week.
