//Deidara's POV//
One word exactly to describe my morning wouldn't simply be enough. Ever since Itachi's mother decided to dump Katsumi on me last night, I had to deal with my missions, taking care of the baby, and babysitting. Obito and I were barely managing to keep our sanity, and I just knew that sooner or later he is going to lose it. Though, I don't even have time to ponder about it as Obito soon comes rushing into our room completely out of breath. It really is such a typical occurrence at this point. I didn't even want to look up from bed and buried myself deeper into the sheets.
"Obito, it's too early for this crap. I barely got any sleep-"
"He's awake!!" Obito said as he stood at the foot of the bed. It took me a bit of time to process exactly what's was talking about, but soon I found myself jumping out of bed clutching his shirt in my fist in excitement and disbelief.
"Really!?!"
Obito nodded once more as he explained that Itachi had come by to pick up Katsumi to take him over to the hospital to see Kisame. Just knowing that made me quickly get dressed and walk out to the living room only to see Itachi sitting there while telling Katsumi the news. Katsumi looked extremely happy and was already jumping all over the place expecting to see his father. Just the sight of it warmed my heart. We all knew that Katsumi would miss his father, and it did deeply sadden the little kid when Kisame came back from the war being carried over someone else's shoulder completely unconscious. Just the sight of it was enough to bring the poor boy to tears. Kisame dying would have never been something that would have crossed my mind, but it was something I didn't want to prepare for as well. Nor did Itachi or anyone else close to him.
"Deidara, thanks for watching Katsumi. I really appreciate it, and I'm sorry my mother left him here. She had something important to deal with" Itachi said as he ruffled Katsumi's hair. The little boy only pushed his hand away and tried to fix his hair. I knew for a fact he was already growing impatient to go see Kisame.
"Not a problem, but if it's ok with you, we'd like to go visit Kisame with the both of y'all as well." Itachi sat in thought momentarily before nodding and grabbing Katsumi's go-bag from last night. Obito and I grabbed a few things and he grabbed a hold of the baby Ren before we headed out. Only by randomness did I turn to look at Itachi which caused me to notice the look he was giving the baby. It wasn't a look of distaste, but rather, it was a look of sadness. I knew that Itachi really wanted to have a child of his own, but with what was happening with Kisame, I wouldn't blame them for both holding off for a while.
"Itachi, are you ok?" I asked. He instantly shook out of his daze as he grabbed Katsumi's hand tighter and looked forward.
"Y-yeah, let's get going" was all he said as I followed close behind. I did look over at Obito who also gave me a concerned expression. We both knew that Itachi was dealing with some personal stuff, but he just had a difficult time sharing with others. Though we were all friends, Itachi was specifically always closed off no matter what. That did worry us, but we always came to the conclusion that it was an Uchiha thing.

By the time we arrived at the hospital, Katsumi ran from Itachi's grasp and towards Kisame's room. Since he'd already been here so many times it didn't really surprise us at all. We shortly followed right behind him until the room door was in sight and Katsumi ran in. He was extremely excited which could be heard from his voice when he shouted for his dad. A low and rough voice responded back which was a bit too hard for us to hear, but I knew it was Kisame's. We slowly entered which caused Kisame to lift his head up and grin at us.
