All the other members were relaxing in the living room and chatting, enjoying their weeks off from hunting for the tailed beasts and completing bounties. Most of them had not recalled the last time they've all been out of commission while their leader dealt with personal matters on the outside.

Even Kakuzu, who considered each waking minute money, felt somewhat relieved that they didn't have to spend time out doing such difficult tasks. It meant just meant less of the organization's funds being wasted on inn's and food expenses when working on said missions. However that also meant they had to deal with who he deemed the most annoying member of the organization as he took advantage of the break.

Hidan...

And it seemed his annoyance and worries were proven right when Hidan pulled a bottle of sake out of nowhere as they sat around lounging, talking about past missions or personal grievences.

Hidan: let's all take a sip of this expensive sake I bought to loosen up a bit. A merchant told me it was the best on the market and that it was pretty damn strong!

Kakuzu eyed Hidan suspiciously.

Kakuzu: How exactly did you buy it if you don't even have money? Last time I checked, Pain hadn't paid you for your lack of contribution on missions.

Hidan smirked, his eyes narrowing into these slits that portrayed his mischief.

Hidan: Oh, I borrowed some of your money while you slept.

Kakuzu paused for a moment. Then he slowly narrowed his eyes at his immortal partner. He looked like he was ready to kill Hidan, but was cut off on the action when Deidara joined the conversation.

Deidara: Who cares who did what. Gimme that sake un.

He snatched the bottle from Hidan's hand and poured everyone in the room a drink. Excluding Sasori of course due to the fact that, as a puppet, what pleassure would he find in drinking that. Instead, he looked at the humans' drinks and didn't see anything odd about it. He was just shocked that Zetsu was going to drink.

Wasn't he some kind of aloe plant thingy?

Everything was fine after everyone drank, but things started to go down hill as soon as they took their second shot. They all were feeling dizzy, and not the drunk dizzy, but the dizzy when you're about to pass out after a long evening of drinking. Sasori seemed to notice right away and before he could ask what was going on, a puff of blue colored smoke filled the room.

Coughs and loud sounds of the memebers scrambing to get away could be heard, and Sasori could do nothing but stare in dumbfounded dissapointment.

Something told him that accepting anything from Hidan was always going to be a bad idea. However he sighed and when the smoke cleared, he noticed that the room had gone silent.

Looking around he noticed children in the place of Akatsuki members. All staring right back at him with these big doe eyes that slowly filled with tears at the lack of reaction and attention the red-head was giving them.

Sasori: What the hell just happened?

The members had turned into toddlers who seemed confused and didn't really seem to understand Sasori speaking to them. Quickly Sasori grabbed the bottle of half-empty sake and sniffed it. Only, he felt like a complete idiot himself for even doing such a thing, knowing that it was a dangerous gamble to think it wouldn't do anything to him just because he was a human puppet.

Immediately after, he felt dizzy as well and shrunk to kid size. In the whole process, he turned into a human toddler like the others.

Meanwhile, in Kisame and Itachi's room, Itachi was awakened by the sound of crying coming from downstairs. He would not have cared, but what surprised him was the fact that it almost sounded like children sobbing and throwing some sort of tantrum.

'What the hell?'

He sat up and turned his head to his partner who was sound asleep in his own bed. Slowly getting up, he walked up to Kisame and poked his bare arm. At first no reaction came, so he poked harder before eventually Kisame grabbed his wrist and looked at him with tired irritation before noticing the look on Itachi's face.

For all Kisame knew, Itachi never so much as frowned in all the years they've been partners.

Kisame: oh it's just you.

Kisame released his wrist and sat up.

Kisame: What is it, Itachi-san? What's wrong, you don't look too good?

Itachi: do you hear that sound...

Kisame focused his hearing. And immediately after, he heard cries from downstairs.

Kisame: what is that?

Itachi: I don't know, but let's go and check it out. It doesn't sound good.

Kisame tossed on a shirt while Itachi grabbed a kunai from his dresser.

Walking out into the open they heard the sounds of children becoming more evident, and when they reached the living room they were shocked. Itachi himself gasped which never happens. A total of 6 children sat playing around and crying on the floor of the living room.

Kisame assumed that the guys had a crazy night due to the sake on the coffee table and kidnapped some toddlers from who knows where. Only, this idea was shattered when he noticed one had a pendant which only Hidan owned...

As a matter a fact, the children looked very familiar to him, and that's when it hit him.

Kisame: Itachi-san I don't think you'll believe this, but those toddlers are most definitely the guys.

Itachi looked at Kisame with the biggest eyes he has ever seen. They were screwed.
