{Authors POV- 1 Week Later}

Hinata looked around and saw no traces of anyone's chakra signatures. None of them unterstood why they couldn't sense out Yui's Chaka. He had one of the strongest Chakra signatures and they still couldnt sense it. Even Naruto's sage mode didn't help them out in this situation.

Sasuke: Naruto, I think that's enough. You're going to exhaust yourself if you keep using sage mode.

Naruto looked at Sasuke exausted before preventing himself from going any further. Sai had no luck either after flying up high and seeing no indication of a hideout or and Anbu members. He swiftly jumped off the scroll beast and landed next to Kakashi.

Sai: This is no use. I've looked all over and no signs of anyone or anything suspisious. What do we do now?

They all stopped walking by now as Kakashi paused in thought.

Kakashi: I think we should probably spilt up. It would be much quicker, and if we find something then we can come together and report it.

They all looked hesistant and felt a bit uneasy about the idea. No one wanted to go alone and risk something going wrong.

Madara: That's just killing oneself at this point. It will never work, and by splitting up we are making it easier for them to capture us all.

Kakashi sighed and looked at the group of 14. Since it was a big number, splitting them evenly wasn't going to happen.

Hidan: What the heck is that?

Everyone stopping looking at Kakashi and instead looked at the direction Hidan was looking at before noticing a messenger hawk.

Yamato: What do you think it could say, Kakashi-san?

Kakashi: only one way to find out.

The creature made a few circles in the air before it landed right on top of Kakashi's arm. He quickly grabbed the tiny scroll on his leg before undoing it and slowing reading to contents.

Obito noticed his mood change right away and looked at Kakashi with concern.

Obito: What does it say?

Kakashi slowly looked up and felt the immense pressure of having to tell the others the news.

Kakashi: The location where Katsumi, Deidara, Iruka, Pain, and Konan were at has been attacked.

All: WHAT!?!

Obito quickly panicked and looked Kakashi dead in the eyes. Itachi covered his mouth in shock as he looked at Kisame with worry.

Obito: What happened to them? Is Deidara hurt?!

Kakashi quickly shook his head and tried reassuring them all.

Kakashi: They all managed to escape, but Deidara is really ill right now. He used up too much chakra trying to hold them off of himself and Katsumi.

Obito gritted his teeth and threw his mask in anger to the point that the a corner chipped off at the impact. He began pacing as the others continued asking questions.

Itachi: How did they find the location? No a single one of us even knew the location to where they were taken.

Kakashi: I have no possible idea, but at least they're safe now. Other than that,, Tsunade wants Obito, Itachi, and Kisame to return back to the village. The rest of us will have to continue going.

The three that were called out looked at each other and nodded before splitting up from the group and planning their journey back to Konoha.
