Obito froze.

The blood in his veins ran cold and it almost felt as if his legs wanted to give out beneath him. Obito's heart was pounding in his chest and one thing that slipped past his eyes were tears of sorrow and disbelief. The girl he had built a bond and connection with all those years ago was standing before him, fighting in a war that should have never happened. It hurt him more knowing that she was involved in the kidnapping of Yui, the attempt on Itachi and Deidara's life, and killing of Konan and Pain, the people aside from Madara who tried their best to take care of him.

Kakashi had the same expression as Obito aside from the tears. Iruka only stood next to him and held his shoulder to comfort him. Rin had begun running towards the group and was aiming her Katana at Kakashi. Kakashi was stunned and jumped right over her. We all backed up but surrounded her to try and gain the upper hand.

"Rin, stop this!!"

Rin looked at Kakashi and the fury could be seen growing in her eyes. Those dead and soulless eyes only had room for that one emotion. "DON'T CALL ME THAT," she yelled out before continuing to give out relentless attacks. Soon however, we gained the upper hand and Itachi managed to get right behind her and corner her with his fire style jutsu. Sasuke did the same and she stood between them fuming. Deidara was flying above trying to give instructions on where to attack when she suddenly smirked and let chakra seep out. Sasuke and Itachi slightly backed up, but a slight chuckle from Madara caught my attention.

"What a sly bitch," he said almost sounding amused. I looked at him to elucidate his findings.

"She has such a large mass of chakra because she is a fucking Jinchūriki," Madara simply stated. My thoughts went back to the time Kakashi "killed" her. He mentioned that she had something in her which was making her freak out and not want to go to the village. That's why she jumped in front of Kakashi that time, but what I don't understand is why she would turn into such a person. Slowly, Rin's body didn't look like her own, and soon she converted into the 3-tailed-beast (Isobu). Kisame jumped in and pulled Itachi and Sasuke from the close distance of the creature. Along with the Gedo statue, both let out an ear-piercing screech before coming at us. Madara conquered his Susanoo and used its blade to push the statue back. Rin's 3-tails ended up halting behind it and pushing it forward to make it overpower Madara. One thing they had mistaken was that Madara was the type to give in when overpowered. He simply made another clone of his Susanoo and pushed the both of them back. The 3-tails suddenly backed off and looked up. My eyes trailed up to where it had looked up to and I felt the air leave my lungs. Deidara noted the sudden attention the 3-tails gave him and tried to swerve out the way. It was too late however, because the tail of the beast knocked him off the C2 Dragon.

I quickly ran past everyone and dodged the swings of the Gedo statue. It felt as time was going slow and Deidara was going too fast. I tried my hardest to reach him, but Isobu's tail crashed right in front of me. The sheer strength of the collision made me fall back and knock my head on a boulder. My vision blurred and all I could hear was ringing in my ears. My eyes met for a split second with Deidara's who had a look of guilt in them. I watched him hit the ground with a thud. Nothing could prepare me to look at his lifeless body and closed my eyes shedding a tear. I couldn't move and I couldn't scream a pained cry. Kakashi ran up to me along with Sakura before helping me sit up. They dragged me out of the path of the two large monsters and began to heal me. I slapped Sakura's hand away and looked at Kisame carrying Deidara's limp body before setting him down next to us. I basically crawled over to him and gently pushed his blood-soaked blond hair away from his face. His face had long streak of blood covering it and dripping to the side. His eyes were still slightly open, but he wasn't breathing or saying anything. I gently held him in my arms and hugged him tightly, trying to hold on to anything my make me deny that he was dead. I begged Sakura to heal him, and she tried to make me understand, but I didn't want to. I just wanted my love back. He was all I had, and we just had a baby which only amplified those feelings of sorrow. Sakura abided and began to allow Chakra to seep into Deidara's wounded back. Itachi could only look down at Deidara and give me sorrowful look.
