(Author's POV)

The woman stared deeply into Itachi's eyes as to almost challenge him. Kisame sensed the tension between the two and slowly pulled Itachi away.

Kisame: Haru, I didn't think you'd still be here?

Itachi eased up a bit knowing that Kisame and the woman knew each other, but he didn't like what she had called him a few seconds ago.

Haru: Sorry about that, buddy. You see, I and Kisame go way back. I thought you were sneaking up on him to attack.

Itachi not trying to start anything ended up ignoring the woman's ignorant comments and nudged Kisame slightly. Kisame got the idea real quick.

Kisame: Yeah, it's nice seeing you. By the way, is Daisuke around right now?

Haru: Such a shame that you're asking for him instead of me, but yes, he's here. What do you need him for?

Suddenly down the hall, a faint closing of a door could be heard. Kisame and Itachi turned around and saw a man emerge from his chambers.

Daisuke: Now Haru, I don't think that's how you ask questions.

Kisame: Daisuke, you still look like shit.

Daisuke: As do you, but who's this lovely being here?!

(Itachi's POV)

I think Kisame was right when he said the man was strange. He instantly grabbed my hand and kissed it gently while smirking.

Itachi: Uh-

Daisuke: No need to be surprised. I'm just automatically attracted to beautiful beings.

I pulled my hand away slowly as he smiled and looked up at Kisame. I was surprised that Kisame didn't say anything.

Daisuke: So, what brings you two here? I wasn't really expecting visitors.

Kisame: Well, we wanted to ask you a few things you might have the knowledge of, but I don't think being out here is a good idea.

Daisuke nodded and led us down the hall and through some other doors before we went into some lab of sorts. I eyed the different experiments and saw a few strange-looking viles that glowed.

Daisuke: Please, have a seat.

We both ended up sitting down around a large meeting room table that had a few documents sprawled around it.

Daisuke: I didn't catch your name?

I looked up and saw Haru who was sitting next to Daisuke eyeing me with some sort of look. I already knew I didn't like her.

Itachi: Uchiha Itachi, a pleasure to meet you.

The moment I finished speaking I could feel Daisuke's energy go from 0-100 real quick.

Daisuke: An Uchiha!! I've never seen one so close before. They would never let me near them.

I nervously smiled as he spoke. Was the Uchiha clan some kind of animal zoo attraction to him?
