*Naruto's POV*

Two weeks since I and Sasuke spoke. I was fine with at least 1 week without talking because of missions, but he is acting like telling me when he's leaving is such a hard thing.

I grumbled in annoyance while I walked to the ramen stall. Though it was quite early in the morning, the streets were bustling with people. Left and right you could hear people's conversations. I decided to ignore all the commotion before sitting down and ordering a bowl of ramen. By my sixth bowl, I honestly wanted to go home, but someone's chakra signature caught my attention. I looked up only to see Zetsu standing there ordering some ramen. I glared a bit at him remembering our last encounter. I still can't believe Sasori can stand someone like him. Arrogant and straight-up bipolar...........reminds me of Sasuke.

I got dragged out of my thoughts when I noticed that Zetsu was looking at me.

Naruto: What do you want?

He handed me a folded-up letter and said it was from Sasuke. Internally I groaned and took the letter from him. He left shortly after getting his food. I got up and paid my bill before running back to my apartment.

Back at my apartment I sighed and flopped down on my bed after yanking my sweater off. It was too early in the morning to be raging over little things, but Sasuke just made me want to throw him across a battlefield and call it a day. I turned my head to the discarded neon orange and black sweater before looking at the small note slipping out of the pocket.

Naruto: Sasuke, you're an idiot.

I simply turned away from facing the letter and hugged my pillow. There was no way in hell I would allow myself to go after Sasuke after he ignored me for such a long time. . . . . . . . . yes I would.

I quickly jumped out of bed and grabbed the small folded note before unfolding it and reading it.

I looked at the note and gasped. Is that what he had been doing all this time while I was complaining. I knocked myself in the head a couple of times before jumping up from the floor. I was determined to help Sasuke and Itachi.

(Time Skip: Hidan's POV)

Hidan: Oh come on, I didn't even do it this time!

I watched as Kakuzu glared at me while cleaning a spill that was left on the inn room floor. This asshole actually blamed me for it and thought that glaring at me while cleaning it made a difference.

Kakuzu: Prick.

Hidan: Mope all you want bitch, but it isn't going to make a difference if I did it or not. Besides, I would have told you if I did it.

Kakuzu: Yeah yeah, go fuck yourself.

I grumbled in response before standing up from my seat and heading out the door. Considering how hot it was outside, I wasn't allowed to go "half-naked" because the Hokage wanted to ensure the "integrity" of the Akatsuki. I just thought it was a dumb tactic to make me wear pants and long sleeve shirts because they couldn't stand looking at a good-looking being like me.
