tbh as how i see it I see Illumi at number 1 as t being the best dad 

Chrollo at 2 because i feel like he would need some time to get used to it and he might not be around a lot bc of his job

Hisoka would be the WORST dad I MEAN HES A PEDO- HELLO NO NO tO THE NO NO😣

CHROLLO

Chrollo wouldn't actively want a child. Between the troupe and his entire lifestyle, having a baby just means more of a bounty on his head. more to worry about, and more danger.I don't think its something that hasn't crossed his mind though. After being with you for so long, he sometimes gets soft and imagines having a family of his own. Mostly, he wants someone to continue the spider.All this aside, lets say he actually does end up with a child. In my opinion; I see him having one boy, but ill keep it vague so you can Imagine whichever you want!Yes he would name his child after a poet or author he admires.He would be distant at first, especially with Troupe business but he always makes sure to bring something back for his child and you!He would read to his child every chance he gets, and since he wasn't able to get a 'proper' education (he taught himself everything) he would make sure his child has access to EVERYTHING he could possibly want.Endless books, encyclopedias and resources will be at his child's fingertips for whatever they want to study. When he returns from missions with the Troupe, he always makes sure to bring some type of artifact back for them!Chrollo would spend his free time teaching his child about literature, history and even chess! (I headcannon that Chrollo loves to play chess hehe.)His child would be very intelligent, and frankly; spoiled. Between the Troupe members spoiling his kid and acting like bodyguards, his child would be very protected.Chrollo has a lot to offer and teach. He is like an unfinished book with so much to say, which is why I think him having a baby would benefit him more in the longrun. He has someone to pass all his knowledge to and maybe, possibly - take over the Spider.He may not have wanted a baby but his kid really did complete him; and he really proves himself as a good dad, despite having to be absent a lot of the time.

HISOKA

Hisoka would not be a good father.As soon as you tell him you're pregnant he will have that same look of "Bruh" when Chrollo said he can't use his nen.He's a selfish man, and he only wants one thing; to fight and kill strong opponents. A baby is a HUGE distraction from that.but let's pretend he actually loves you and ends up with a baby.the one reason I can see him actually enjoying it, is because he would take this opportunity to make sure his child was the strongest in the world. (Similar to how Endeavor acts in MHA.)This would mean his child would be forced into some borderline abusive training /behavior from Hisoka.However this wouldn't happen until his kid is at LEAST 10 years oldanything under that - he's barely around and couldn't care less.He would really only take interest in his child if they were like him and wanted to be a hunter/fight.Hisoka is fickle and Flaky ; you can never actually tell if he's happy or upset that he has a child.some moments he's cute and mischievous with his kid, other times he is extremely quiet and distant; only saying things like "talk to me when you can choke me out~"He does, however, spoil the hell out of his child with sweets! He's always giving them ice cream, candy, bungee gum and anything else they want.Once a year he always makes it a priority to take both you and his kid to the Carnival where he grew up, and yes he will cheat and use his Nen to grab the stuffed toy that his kid wants.It's moments like these that you cherish before he ultimately disappears for a while again...

ILLUMI

Illumi was 100% on board with it since the moment you broke the news. In fact, he was actually very excited!He always wanted children, more-so he felt like he needed to have them because of tradition and familial values, but he's excited nonetheless.would he be a good father? Eh, not exactly.he's used to his family's abusive parenting habits, so you will have to teach him a LOT and remind him that certain things are not okay.Illumi want's a lot of children, but only what you're comfortable with. Ideally he would want 3 at least. Preferably boys, but if he has daughters they will all be raised the same; as assassins. Being a manipulator, he's a bit of a control freak when it comes to his kids. He wouldn't want them doing anything stupid. he acts very distant and unemotional, but deep down he really loves his children. They are his pride and joy and his heir to the zoldyck line.they will be extremely spoiled, considering the Zoldyck's are billionaires. You can expect them to get spoiled a lot!Their physical training would be JUST as important as their intellectual training. He would want his kids to learn whatever they can; not just how to kill people.He rarely has soft moments with them, but when his children are small he does help out a lot with taking care of them! especially when they are babies!He makes sure to keep Kikyo at a distance, as he knows how crazy and possessive she can get. I think after some 'fixing' and 'teaching' Illumi would be a decent father. One advantage he has over hisoka and chrollo is he's around quite often. Though he is distant he does try to make his kids like him and not loathe him.
