Hisoka wasn't the type of man to settle down with someone, his wanderlust kept him from staying in one place for very long. There was always a new place to go, a new toy to play with, and a new person to soothe his bloodlust. He first thought of you as his toy, lounging around your apartment even when you weren't home and scaring the living hell out of you, staying the night and holding your close to him as he raked his sharp nails through your hair, he would press kisses to your forehead as a goodbye. In fewer words, Hisoka had become comfortable being at home with you. He thought it was funny how he considered your small apartment his home, the place his legs would take him to before he even processed where he was.

So he left you, he believed that it was just his foolishness, he was just so bored with life that he began to fool himself into believing that he wanted that life.

So Hisoka showed up to your apartment one last time, a sly smirk on his lips as he stared at you with his bright yellow eyes. He spoke so carelessly, telling you about how worthless you are and how you've become an old toy, how he found a new toy that isn't as bland.

As Hisoka watched as your eyes dimmed with sadness, tears slowly welling up in your eyes as you stared at him in pure disbelief, he felt as if his heart had just been pierced with a stake. But Hisoka wasn't comfortable with emotion, he knew you were probably thinking that he lied when he discretely told you about his feelings for you, that all his sweet touches were nothing but an act of pity and to get more of what he wanted.

Hisoka didn't return after he left you alone and with a broken heart. He would often think about home but he would remind himself that it wasn't home, it was temporary comfort.

No matter what he told himself, he returned back 5 months later, back to your city where he had memorized where your apartment was, your job, your favorite restaurant, and even your friends' homes. He told himself that it was out of pure convenience for him, easier to track you down.

On the third day of him prancing around the city, attempting to follow your schedule, Hisoka couldn't seem to find you. Until that evening, he caught a glimpse of your familiar silhouette. A smile spread on his lips as he admired you, your hair was down with half of it tied up in a small ponytail and small wisps of hair resting over your face. He watched as you walked calmly, your loud giggle reaching his ears, almost causing him to erupt in a fit of laughter at the sweetness of your laugh. That was until his eyes landed on the man beside you, the man was looking at you very fondly as he continued speaking with a smile on his face. He seemed to be wearing black trousers with a neatly tucked in baby pink button up shirt with a black vest complimenting his pants. Hisoka eyed him like a predator to its prey, his bloodlust emitting from his body as he watched the way your small fingers touched the man's arm, giving it a tight squeeze.

Hisoka made his way towards you without a second thought, his tall body leaning over as he looked down at you.

"Well hello there Y/N. Seems like you're quite busy, aren't you my toy," Hisoka spoke, placing his hand on the pole you had stopped beside of as he scanned your body slowly, licking his lips at the sight.

Your eyes widen as you stare at him, the memories of his cruel words and him abandoning you repeating in your brain. You looked up at him with cold eyes, a huff leaving your lips as you grabbed the man's hand and led him the other way. Hisoka frowned as he watched, his eyebrows furrowing as he tried to think about why you wouldn't take him back, he's messed up several times before and you forgave him so what's different now.
