AFTER TATAY was settled and ready to go, we all head out of our house and make ourselves comfortable in our hiace van. Tatay is the one who's driving and at his side is Nanay while me and Phoenix are in the backseat.

Something is playing around my mind and I want to divert my thoughts. I dont want to expect something about this family dinner date but their weirdness earlier got the best of me. I can't stop thinking of possible things that will happen.

Here I am again assuming that something would really happen later. Dreq always made me assume!

"Phoenix, do you know where are we going?" I asked Phoenix when our hiace van passed the crossing and now heading to coastal road.

He look at me boredly and sigh.

"A hotel in Taguig I guess?" He is not sure, definitely not sure about his answer.

I rolled my eyes and busy myself from my phone. Stop thinking Phoebe, Dont expect something great and consider this dinner as a casual and normal day of yours.

After an hour or two we arrived in our destination. Okay something is odd. Tatay never been in this hotel, five years ago he told us to avoid this hotel. But, I break his order because of work and that night I send Dreq home. So, I guess they are good now?

"Magsibaba na kayo." Tatay order that we immediately obey. His words is like a law that we need to obey. Even we're his family we still feel his strong authority in his aura.

"Do you have a reservation sir?" A waitress asked when we enter their restaurant in the third floor of the hotel.

"Compestella." Tatay answered shortly. I saw how the waitress enlarge her eyes because of shock. I notice that she already know that someone reserve a place under our surname yet she is still shock to see us, or is it my Tatay only?

"Here's the way sir." She said when she got back from her shock.

The woman led us to a big private room of their restaurant. I look at Tatay and give him a knotted look, despite of the fact that this is a private room he still did a flashy dinner setting. We never did this! I thought he wants a simple living for us?

Yes, I have been in a nice place but this place? What's gotten into Tatay? This is like a dining of a royals! I never know that this kind of place exist in the Philippines?

"Stop glaring Gerome, you two! I want to have this dinner to be unforgettable." Tatay snap. That's when I realize that I not the only one who gave him that look.

"What's gotten into you Tay?" Just like me but Phoenix has a guts to asked Tatay with his brows knotted and perflexed is visible in his face.

"Don't asked like you know nothing." Tatay emotionally said and sit in the center seat of the table.

"You are acting like a cry pussy Roi." Nanay teased him with smirk in her lips. Tatay just rolled his eyes and told us to sit.

"Why so drama Tay?" I asked when the waitress announce that our food is arriving and she left

"It's your doing hija. So stop asking." He said in dismissing tone.

"Everyone are acting fine, you are the only one acting weird here." I stated.

"You all will never understand." Tatay said.

The waitress earlier enter and announce that our food is ready. After she said that one by one, other waiter enter and have their stroller with the food.
