fifty: This Is... Raphael.

IT DIDN'T take long after before they were brought into Shoupe's office, where Pope unraveled the gun, setting it onto the man's desk making him look at it then glance up at the four teenagers in front of him. "So ya'll are telling me this is the firearm Rafe killed Peterkin with?" He asked the four.

"That's exactly what we're telling you, Shoupe." JJ answers him quickly. "And the exact same firearm that Ward just used to kill Gavin." Pope added after the blond. "And where's that corpse again?" Shoupe merely asked him. "Didn't you look?" Kie asked the man.

"I checked the hospital. I went by his house. He was out." He merely said with a straight face. "He was out?" Kie says, sounding annoyed. "No shit! 'Cause he's dead!" JJ shouted. "Listen to yourself. It makes perfect sense." They all began shouting over one another as Kai just stared at Shoupe. "Just because he's not in his damn house does not mean he was a victim of a homicide." The police officer tells them.

"What are you talking about?"

"I told you. You gotta be kidding me." JJ said, taking off his hat angrily. "Are you at least gonna send it in for ballistics and shit, or are you just gonna sit on your ass?" Kie asked as Kai glanced over at his frustrated friends

"He'll just sit there and wax that damn mustache. Is that even real?" JJ said as he gestured towards the man. "I'll wax this--" "Shut up, JJ!" Pope shouted at JJ as Shoupe got up and walked past Kai. "It's not fair." Kie says as JJ noticed the officer leaving. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hurt his feelings?" He now asked.

"Shut up!" Pope shouts at JJ again as the police officer opens the door. "Get out. I got work to do." He tells them. "Ya'll are smelling up my damn office." Kie got up and looked at him. "Did Ward bribe you? This doesn't make any sense." She tells the officer as Kai scoffs. "Of course, he's Ward's little bitch. It makes a lot of sense to me, Kie..." He says, rolling his eyes as he exits the office, following after Kiara.

"Ain't gonna do shit," JJ muttered angrily as he walks off, following his boyfriend. "Out!" The police officer shouted as they now waited for Pope by the exit. "He makes me so mad... If he wasn't a cop, I'd punch him." Kai said, cracking all of his knuckles as he spoke.

"Can we just go now?"

In the car, Kai glanced over to Kie in the driver's seat. "Can you, uh, drive me home?" He said and once he said that, JJ looked at him right away but he ignored his gaze. "Yeah, sure thing..." Kie merely says and Kai brings his arms around his waist, hugging himself.

Kai looked at JJ, "I'll come by at the Chateau tomorrow morning, okay?" He said and leaned over, kissing JJ's cheek softly before he got out of the car, shutting the door. "Thanks. Goodnight guys..." He tells Kie through her open window and she nods. "Hey, can you text me later? I wanna talk..." She tells him.

He just merely nods, smiling softly. "Bye guys." He waved and walked off, towards his house where he knows his mom is most likely up, waiting for him and drinking wine again. He opened the door quietly, shutting it gently behind him before he leans against it, sighing softly. "Hey... where have you been?" He looked over to see his mom watching tv.

No wine. But she is in sweats and a baggy shirt, like she was relaxing after a long day of work. "Uh, staying at the Chateau... With JJ." He said and she immediately glanced up at him. "I know, I know..." He says right away. "No. It's not that." She said and then a man walked in, holding two different bottles of wine.

"Which one do you want, Aurora?" He asked and he felt familiar, Kai just stared at him. "Kai..." She said, standing up as she is rubbing her hands together, almost nervously. "This is... Raphael. Your... dad." She tells him and Kai is frozen in that spot, just staring at them.

"Raphael?" He said and the man nodded with a small smile. "Hey kid..." He says and Kai just scoffed. "Whatever..." He mumbled and walked away, entering his bedroom where he grabbed his clothes quickly and headed straight into the bathroom so he can shower.

When he was done with his shower, he grabbed his phone and messaged Kiara almost immediately. Dude. What the fuck... can you pick me up and we can talk? I need to talk to someone. Is all he wrote and waited, biting on his fingernails, kind of anxious.

Yeah, of course. I'll come by in a couple of minutes. You can always talk to me, Kai. Kie responded with not long after as he got up, grabbing his shoes and pulling them on, tying up the shoelaces quickly. He ended up leaving his house through his bedroom window just to avoid seeing who happens to be his "father", he waited by the road, sitting down.

When Kie arrived, he ran his hand through his hair and got into the car. "Hey, is everything okay?" She asked, worriedly. "Just drive... just go." Is all he says and she did as he said, driving off but often glancing at him. "You had a rough day... are you sure you don't just wanna be at home, Kai?" She asked him.

"I don't even wanna go home..." He sighed then looked over at him. "My dad is home." He said and she glanced at him. "Holy shit... seriously?" She asked and he nodded softly. "I never... even met him, he left before I was born, and he acted like as if he knew me." He said with his brows furrowing together slightly.

"What... was troubling you about it?" She asked as she kept glancing at him again. "Everything is just... hitting me all at once, Kie. I don't wanna go home. I just... don't wanna do anything." He says and she just got even more worried. "Do you wanna spend the night at my place or something? I'm sure my parents won't mind..." She told him and he just nodded softly.
