fifteen: Nothing There.

HE couldn't believe it. There it was, the Royal Merchant. Kie cane to stand on the other side of Kai, smiling widely as she saw the shipwreck. Pope did a look over all over the area, only to see that there was nothing to be found after all. After all this searching, after all this hardwork.

Was it really for nothing?

John B sighs, "it's not there. Look, just—just pull the drone up." He says to Pope and Kai looked over at the boy who looks up. "Shit." He says to himself and Kai looks at Pope. "Can't we, uh, do another pass?" He asked him and the boy nodded right away. "Yeah, recharge the battery." He says as his eyes follow John B walking to the back of the boat. "We can—we can go back down." He adds.

John B runs his hands over his hair, looking over the water. "Guys, we've been through it three times. There's nothing there." JJ shouted. "Shut up!" Kie shouts at the boy. "What? It's true!" JJ exclaimed back. "The g-gold could be b-buried. We don't know!" Kai shouts at him.

"If it was there, it would've been found on the metal detector, okay?" John B quickly shut them down. "Somebody beat us to it." He says, turned towards them. "Or it was never there." JJ says quietly to himself and Kai nudged him, frightening the blonde. "Come on, you and I both know it was a load of bullshit..." JJ whispered.

"Okay, but... don't be so harsh about it, okay?"

All of them went home to their respectful homes, John B to his, Kai to his, JJ to his, Pope to his and Kie to hers. Kai walks up to his house and saw Sterling's car, he furrows his brows, walking up to the front door. He opens the door, shutting the door behind him and walked into the livingroom to see his mom talking with Sterling.

"And how does that make you feel, is it—" "Mama? Sterling?" He crossed his arms. "Hey, Kai..." Sterling said as he quickly stood up, walking over to Kai who glanced from his mom to Sterling. "What were you two talking about?" He asked and Sterling shrugs. "Nothing... can we go and talk?" He whispers and Kai nods his head.

"Ma, we're gonna be in my room..." He says and Aurora Lynch nods, smiling as she stood up. "I'm headed to work... love you, honey. Don't get in trouble!" She says as she grabs her keys and bag before heading out the door.

In his room, Kai tidies up, grabbing his things and putting them away before sitting on his bed beside Sterling. "What's up?" He smiled and Sterling moved closer, sighing. "I saw you... on a boat with, uh, your friends," he said kind of awkwardly.

"Okay? I'm always on a boat with my friends..." He says and Sterling nods. "Yes, yes, but, uh, this time, I say you guys, like, do something... to a boat." He says and Kai's eyes widen before he quickly played it off, clearing his throat as he stood up. "Uh, what did you see exactly?" He asked him.

"Um... I saw one of you get onto Topper's boat, and then... pull the plug off of it, and get back into the boat you guys were in before you guys just took off. I knew it wasn't an accident when I noticed, uh, JJ? I think, threw the plug." He says.

"Jesus, um, you can't tell anyone, okay?" Kai says as he sits down next to Sterling, facing him. "Like, no one, okay?" He says and Sterling grabs his shoulder. "I won't... if you do something for me." He smiles and Kai stared at him. "I'm not going to fucking bottom for you..." He says.

"Wh- no, oh my God, Kai..." Sterling groaned loudly. "No, come with me to the movie tonight. Bring your friends if you want." He says and then he leaned in, pecking Kai on the lips gently. "Hey... while you're here..." The boy said as his hand goes onto Sterling's thigh, sliding further up.

"Come here," Sterling mumbled, pulling Kai close by the back of his neck as their lips connected. Kai laid down, pulling Sterling on top of him as he deepened their kiss, his arms around the other's waist. The fact Kai had a single bed made this more difficult as Sterling had to stay on top and boy, did he hate having to ride Kai. He didn't like doing any of the work, he was too much of a bratty bottom. But he didn't complain. The view of Kai underneath him was kind of... nice.

Sterling slowed down, staring at Kai as the boy finished off, gripping his hips. Sterling leaned down, kissing Kai on the lips gently. "I'll see you tonight, okay?" He smiled at the boy who nodded quickly. Sterling got off, getting dressed again before looking at Kai. "Meet you there?" He asked and Sterling nods. "I'll let the guys and Kie know." He says and sat up, smiling at him.

Sterling smiled back, knowing exactly what the other wanted as he leaned down, kissing Kai once more before he stood up straight and grabbed his shirt to pull it on, getting ready to leave. Kai went and got into the shower before stepping out and getting dressed into some clean clothes, some shorts and a shirt. After smoking some weed, he left to go and get JJ and Pope before getting Kie, basically dragging them to the movie night.

"Are we taking your car?" Kai asked Kie who nods right away as they pack up their things into the back of her car. "So... uh, we're... we're actually meeting up with Sterling there." He turned to the two boys and Kie smiling. "That's exciting! A chance to get to know him." She says to him.

Kai looked to JJ and Pope, "yeah, dude, exciting. Sterling seems... cool." Pope said and shrugged. "Yeah..." JJ said and said nothing else as he walked to the car, getting into the back which was sort of surprising since he usually takes the spot of the passenger seat before everyone else. Pope gets into the passenger seat so Kai sits in the back with JJ as Kie got into the driver's seat.
