sixteen: Summer Movie.

THE five boys and Kie walk together, holding their bags and coolers. "I'm so glad they're still doing this." Kie says as she walked ahead with Sterling and Kai. "Keep calm. Carry on." She says, smiling and Kai smiles at her. "Welcome to the summer movie series." They announced.

"Back to OBX life." Kie says and Kai nods before glancing at Sterling. "Yeah, I know. Aren't you glad I asked you guys to come along?" Kai asked and looked at the two boys and Kie. "Ecstatic." Pope says, but didn't sound like it before JJ clears his throat. "My couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest." He says as they set up where they picked to sit. "I wanna sit with Kai." JJ said and made Pope sit on the other side of him. Kie sits on the other side of Pope as Kai set down his chair on the right side of JJ with Sterling to his right.

"We're out of the green zone, man."

"Dude, tranquilo, okay?"

"We're in the middle of Kooklandia. This is the last place I wanted to be." Kai overhears the two talking as they settle down, taking their seats. "Shut up, Pope." JJ says, sitting down.

"What is he talking about?" Kai asked, leaning over to JJ who looked at him right away. "Him? Oh, nothing... you know how Pope is..." He nods and Kai squints his eyes at him before turning away, turning his attention back to Sterling. JJ stared at the two before looking away, crossing his arms as his face set into a small upset look.

Kie came back to the boys after leaving to get a drink for her and Pope. "Just saw Rafe, and he said, and I quote, "tell your boy that we know what he did." What is that?" She asked JJ and Pope who were being a little stingy. Kai leans over to JJ again, "is it about..." He whispered but JJ made him turn his head away. "Um... where is he?" He asked Kie who looked behind them.

"Right there."

Pope, JJ and Kai quickly look behind themselves to see Rafe standing with Topper and Kelce. "Great, the whole death squad." Pope says before JJ makes him turn his head, "don't stare, bro."

"Just warning you, bro." JJ looks at Pope. "If they corner me, I'm coming out swinging, okay?" He says and Kai stared at him in confusion. "Slice and dicin'. I'm on edge right now." He says and Kai looks at Sterling as the boy suddenly got up and walked away, "be right back." He says.

Kai turns back to his friends, "if that doesn't work, I got this right here." JJ said as he held up his backpack. Pope nods, "yeah, yeah. So, we just gotta stay in the group. They can't get us in the group." Pope says and Kai sighed as he realized what JJ meant. About his backpakc. "Like a school of fish." JJ said as he nodded.

"Stay in the school. Can't leave the school."

"I'm sorry, JJ... Please tell me that you did not bring a gun here." Kie said as she looked over and Kai looked at JJ as well. "JJ, there's kids..." He said and JJ looks at him. "No! Okay? I-I didn't bring the gun. Everything's fine, okay?" He says to them and Kai looked over at Kie on the other end. "Oh, wow, thank you. That's really convincing. I love that, JJ." Is all the girl said, annoyed.

"Founding principle, you guys. No secrets amongst Pogues. What is Rafe talking about?" Kie asked and Kai looks at JJ with a warning look. "Kie, it might go down tonight." Pope simply said to the girl before leaning back and turning away. "What does that mean?" She asked him.

"Might go down tonight." What did ya'll do?" She asked and even looked towards Kai who quickly looked the other way, refusing to meet her eye gaze. "Deny, deny, deny." JJ said softly to Pope and that's when Sterling comes back to them.

"What did I miss?"

"Nothing exciting..."

As it was nighttime and there was a scene with a woman on it, and suspenseful music played, Kai noticed Sterling looking over to the side a lot. Kai followed his eye gaze and just saw two boys sitting together. One was staring right back at Sterling. He looked away, confused.

"JJ?" Pope whispered. "What?" The blond looked away from the film. "Gotta take a piss." Pope whispered and JJ who was bouncing his leg anxiously wasn't having it. "Hold it." He says to the boy. "I can't hold it. I drank too much soda." Pope whispered right back and JJ leans closer. "It's too exposed. They'll totally see us." He reasoned with the other teenage boy. "I gotta go."

The two look behind them at the Kooks at the back. "They're blocking the bathrooms." Pope says and JJ taps Kai. "You have to come with us. Better in numbers... Come on, Pope." He waved him over and Kai got up, confused. "Hey, where ya'll going?" Kie whispered to the three boys who stop and turn back to look at her. "We gotta wring it out." JJ said and then the three turn away.

"You gonna hold it for each other?" They ignore Kie but Kai giggles as they make their way through a lot of people. They pass by that boy that Sterling was staring at who looked at Kai up and down before looking away with a small glare. Eventually they got to a tree, standing on the other side of it where Pope and JJ opened their zippers and got to do their business. Kai joined them, sighing deeply. "This feels better than a blowjob." Pope says as he stared up at the nightsky.

"Like you know how that feels."

"I can confirm a blowjob feels better."

JJ and Kai made the remarks together at the same time and Kai's just made JJ roll his eyes. No doubt getting blowjobs by Sterling and only Sterling. He didn't have a problem with Kai being gay... it was just who he chose to be gay with.

"This feels better than what I imagine a blowjob would feel like." Pope corrects himself. JJ and Kai finish up, turning around and waiting for Pope. "You bring the peacemaker?" Pope asked as he kept going. "Oh, shit, I forgot it." JJ says.

"You forgot it?"

"Hurry up! Hurry up!"

"Dude, you had one job. That's all I asked you to do, man." Pope said as he zipped up his zipper, looking at JJ. "I know. Let's go back." JJ said and as they go around the tree, they run into Rafe. "What's up, Pogues?" He said, walking towards them as Kai and Pope stay behind JJ. "What's up, Rafe?" JJ says, backing away from the taller.
