TRISTAN'S POV

"Where's Mark?" I asked Kate because she's the one that Mark talking to before.

"Hindi ko po alam," Kate shrugged her shoulders while sipping her coffee. "nga pala, kuya. Pumapasok na ba si ate Rheign?"

Worrying is showing in Kate's eyes. Maybe she's just that close to Rheign even though they just met in a short span of time. It's almost two weeks when Rheign left and everyone is still continuing their job.

"She's not yet allowed to go to the university. It's also for her own good," I said and sat infront of her so I can drink my coffee while waiting Mark.

"Ba't kasi kinuha pa ni tito Rad si ate Rheign?" reklamo sa hangin ni Kate.

We used to call the Governor, tito Rad, because of some reasons. We still have the bond between the Dark and the authorities not until what happened to Rheign came. I know that tito Rad has all of the rights to get mad about what happened but I can't understand why he needs to get Rheign back even though he knew what Rheign can do and he would just leave her behind or with Warren for his job.

Kate suddenly leaned closer to me and squinted her eyes. "why don't we just use madam Melli and erase her—"

"Kate," I cut her off.

Kate just immediately go back to her seat and leaned her back at the seat. Her face was like a scratch paper that you used for how many times. I can't explain but I know that she's definitely disappointed.

"Don't think of that idea again," my brows almost met while looking at her.

"Nasabi mo din naman 'yun, kuya, saka... nag-iisip lang naman ng mga p'wedeng gawin. Wala namang masama do'n," Kate pouted while stirring her coffee.

I just shook my head out of stress. We literally can't stop this girl from thinking and suggesting many ways just to get Rheign back.

"Ano kaya p'wede?" tanong ni Kate sa sarili.

I just finished my coffee and put it on the sink. Kate just suddenly popped out beside me. I almost got a heart attack there. A genius yet foolish smile crossed her lips and pointed at me.

"Mahal mo naman si ate Rheign, 'di ba, kuya?" she suddenly asked.

"Eh?!"

My eyes widened with a confusion on my face. My brows almost met each other while I almost choked from what she said. What the f*ck?!

"What a stupid idea, Kate," I almost shouted to her.

I couldn't believe that she would go to that idea. What the hell is this girl thinking?! Tss.

"No, no, no," Kate shook her head how many times while waving her hand like she was saying that 'it's not like that.'

"Stop being delusional," I shook my head at her while having my irritated face.

"Hindi naman kasi 'yun 'yung ibig kong sabihin. What I mean is, mahal mo s'ya, like friend... like a little sister or what. Like me! You love me, of course. I'm like your little sister, duh!" she said like someone is chasing her.

"Don't you dare 'duh' 'duh' me," my brows furrowed. "so, anong pinaparating mo?"

"Answer me first, kuya!" she shouted. What the f*ck?! 'Buti at hindi lumalabas ang lalamunan ng batang ito. "do you love, ate Rheign, like me, ha?"
