(I'm still working on other chapters, I made this a while ago and forgot to post it)
The ocean was rather peaceful today, LED fish and squids danced around outside, the LED coral shone brightly along with the LED castle and bright villages that surrounded said castle.
And inside the castle lived the king and queen of techno.
M/n sat on her rocking chair feeling content, reading a book in her hands, the book itself was about caring for techno troll eggs after they had been laid. A peaceful look rested on her face along with a small, happy smile.
It was any day now, maybe tomorrow her and Trollex would become parents. The thought made her excitement grow along with her smile.
However though, she felt weak, weaker than she had ever since the pregnancy began, she was told it was normal by doctors, but something felt wrong.Just then, Trollex swam into the room making her worries disappear. He was looking tired, he had a full day of raving and working on his king duties, which mainly consisted of settling debates that took hours, having meetings, visiting newly opened houses, stores, schools etc. The raving of course was fun, but his king duties? They could be exhausting sometimes.
But his expression lit up when he saw his beloved wife and all exhaustion seemed to have been thrown out the window.
"Hey M/n" he greeted warmly, swimming over and kissing her cheek.
M/n smiled and kissed his cheek in return "hey Lexy, how was your day?" She asked, laying her book down on a nearby bedside table.
Trollex sighed "exhausting!" He exclaimed dramatically "the raves were fun as always, and everything else was fine, but the debates? They were a nightmare!" He ranted "some techno trolls couldn't make up their minds on what to name some new schools and stores, and most argued about what color they would be, I spent hours just trying to calm them down, and it was stressful because I had other meetings to get to..." he said with a sigh, sure, most techno trolls were usually friendly and passive so there were never any major problems, but they sometimes could get into ridiculous arguments and would go back and fourth on minor issues sometimes...
M/n gave him a sympathetic look, grabbing his hands gently "I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you Lexy""It's alright" Trollex responded with warm smile "you need to rest as much as you can"
M/n returned his smile and hugged him "I can't wait to meet her" she whispered, feeling more excited at the thought of holding you.
Trollex nodded and hugged her back "I can't wait to meet her too, she will be our wonderful little miracle" he said with a smile."Indeed she will" M/n said as she pulled away gently and closed her eyes, leaning in to kiss his lips, making Trollex smile and also lean closer...
!
Trollex woke up with a small shocked gasp, looking around his large LED room wildly; hearing his heart thumping hard.
He panted quickly for a few seconds before recalling where he was, calming down a little. He didn't know why he was so panicked, it's not like he had a nightmare, he wasn't scared or anything, he just felt startled almost. It felt weird, for a split second he didn't know how to feel...
Then, when the shocked feeling dissolved, a wave of sadness came over him. One that was all too familiar...
Trollex felt tears prick his eyes, he covered his face with his hands as a few sobs escaped from him. The sad empty feeling completely took over.
He had that same dream again...
The dream where he was spending his last day with M/n, before she...He squeezed his eyes shut tight, tears began slipping out, the techno troll trembling softly. Trying to banish the thought from his mind.
The techno king wrapped the soft blanket around himself tightly, sniffling and wiping his tears away roughly, desperately trying to pull himself together. He couldn't let anyone see him like this, he hated it when his techno trolls or siblings saw him cry.
