The last thing Dr. Collingwood remembered was feeling lightheaded after eating the rations given to her, then getting dizzy and collapsing as her vision went dark.
-------------------------------------
When Dr. Collingwood came to and found herself slumped against the wall of her cell with a sharp pain in her chest, she at first thought nothing of it. It took two seconds for it to turn worse.
She looked down at her hands.
Wha- Why do I have claws?!
Each finger was tipped with a long, sharp, curved claw that wouldn't look too out of place on the paw of a bear.
Her tongue ran over her teeth. Was it just her imagination, or did they feel sharp now too?
"No, no, no..."
Right just then, a horrible banshee shriek tore at her ears, causing her to collapse, screaming and writhing in pain.
Morgan looked through the security tapes from yesterday. As he filed through them he noticed something... unusual.
One of the tapes showed a dark, shadowy figure standing in a hallway. As he looked at it again he noticed that the tape was changed.
Did the lights flicker like that in the tape before?
The figure looked right at the camera and grinned, with a mouth full of way too many needlelike teeth. His face went pale when the figure walked closer allowing him to make out the details.
The dark fur, the slight potbelly, the muscular shoulders, the horizontal "tear" marks, the bone-white facial highlights, the pitch-black eyes with tiny, glowing red pupils...
Suddenly the sloth-like figure lunged towards the camera. A pair of furry paws with talons that would make a bear jealous burst from the monitor, grabbing his head and dragging him through the screen.
