"Aye! Lucky Lawrence! Get your tail over here!" Eddie jumped up and down, trying to get the redhead's attention.
Simon facepalmed. "Eddie, how many times do I have to tell you this?! Humans. Don't. Have. Tails!"
"Yeah, I know. You can stop telling me."
Lawrence jogged over to them. "What's up?"
"The Ethics Committee decided to separate Bloodfang from the rest of the pack so that he can't try to escape containment again."
"Let's hope that means no more Bloodfang almost killing Molly," sighed Lawrence. "How's Sharpclaw, by the way?"
"Oh, he's fine. He just underwent his Ceremony of True Maturity." Eddie's cheerful expression dropped a little. "The pack didn't perform the proper ritual though. They're afraid that the Foundation would stop them for no reason, even though it's purely ceremonial."
"That's sad. I like the little guy. I've talked to him a few times. He's really nice."
Charlie smiled. "I've known the little one ever since he was born, and I can tell you, if we were humans, he'd probably be Molly's little brother."

Dr. Collingwood winced, feeling another headache strike her. Lately her headaches were starting to evolve into full-on migraines. Now it was starting to feel like someone was hitting her skull with a hammer.
"Hey Molly, ya know where Lucky is?" Eddie bounded up to her.
"No."
"Oh, all right." He walked away but soon turned around. "Molly, are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine."
Eddie shrugged. "Uh, okay then." He sprinted down the hallway looking for Lawrence.
She sat down, rubbing her forehead. "Keep it together, Molly. Your shift is almost over."
