Six months later...

John smiled as he watched Lawrence wrap his arms around Dr. Collingwood and nuzzle her hair. She giggled and leaned into his touch, her cheeks flushed slightly pink.

"Yeesh, get a room, you two," Carson grumbled. "You guys act like a married couple."

Lawrence and Dr. Collingwood glanced at each other, then Lawrence slowly turned to Carson, pulled off one of his gloves, and showed him a ring that John was pretty sure hadn't been there before.

"Carson, we are a married couple."

"Oh, okay." Carson turned and walked out of the room.

What proceeded was the most epic double take that ever double took.

Carson ran back in, screaming "YOU GUYS ARE MARRIED?!"

Dr. Buck spat the coffee she was drinking back into her mug.

Mr. Moore just sat there, face frozen in a dumbfounded expression. Same for Billy, John, and the 939 brothers.

Once everyone had gotten that revelation through their systems, well...

John fell to his knees and raised his arms. Billy pumped a fist into the air. Eddie, Simon, and Charlie all got knucklehead grins.

"Finally!" all the SCPs screamed.

"WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS!" Billy shouted.

John rushed over to them and swept them both up in a tight hug. "I'm so happy for you two!"

"John, we can't breathe!" Dr. Collingwood wheezed out.

The 939s started whispering amongst each other. Dr. Buck nodded at them and said, "A happy marriage to you two."

"So... you guys gonna have kids or..." Eddie asked.

"No, no, no kids," Dr. Collingwood replied, shaking her head. "I doubt we'd have time to raise a child properly, and considering our job, they'd be at a lot of risk. And, I'll be honest, the way I see it," she gestured to all the SCPs, "you guys are my family."

John looked shocked for a second, before pulling her into a tight hug. Billy chuckled softly. Charlie's lips curved up into a smile. Simon's face softened. Eddie grinned and bounded over to her, nuzzling her arm.

"You're part of our family too, Molly. You always were," he said tenderly.

Carson shook his head with a groan. "Is it just me, or am I in some kind of badly written fanfiction?"
