Humboldt's tone suddenly became serious. "I mean, have you talked to her yet?"
"Yes. She's gotten a little better ever since we convinced her to go see a therapist, but it's still a long road to recovery."
"Well, at least you started. If you didn't, she might've never gotten out of her slump."
"Also, could you please stop treating Lawrence and Molly's relationship like one of those stupid chivalric romance novels? Please?"
Charlie could practically hear Humboldt's grin. "Never!"
He groaned. "You're worse than Don Quixote. At least he was funny and well-intention. You're just annoying."
