John called the SCPs together for an emergency meeting.

"Guys, I'm pretty sure by now you all have seen the state Molly's in, right?"

"Yeah." Billy fiddled with his claws. "She's not taking care of herself."

Eddie shook his head. "It doesn't take eyes to see what's wrong."

"Humboldt told me we should try to gently nudge her to let it all out," said Charlie.

"But how are we supposed to do that? She's going out of her way to avoid us," Simon grumbled.

Billy scratched his chin. "I think we should get Lawrence in on this so that we can make up a plan. And we should figure out what's holding her back from confiding in us in the first place."

"Sounds like a good idea," said John.

"So, everyone agrees?" Simon turned to all of them.

"Yes."

"Yup."

"Sure."

Dr. Buck truly didn't think that Molly's situation could get any worse. She'd been tortured for an entire year, thrown through four walls, set on fire and thrown from the fifth story, and now her father had been murdered.

She noticed her grim, gaunt appearance, her ashy skin, her hollow eyes. She'd seen and heard her crying.

But she never fully realized just how much the events of the past four years had affected her.

Until four days after her father's death.
