Danielle POV

Amalia was asleep again, her legs over my lap as she lent back against the side of the plane.

I'd folded up my hoodie to make a sort of pillow for her.

Leaning my head against Stefania, I sipped at the lukewarm plane coffee.

"What's the plan when we land my love?" I asked Stefania quietly as it seemed the majority of people around us were also asleep.

"Straight to the hotel bellina, we'll all need to rest," she chuckled lightly.

"Then the next day we can go explore a little, there's so many places I want to show you," she smiled happily.

"What about seeing your family?" I asked, nervously chewing the side of my mouth.

"We'll go see them in a few days bella. I wanted us to have time to relax and recover from the flight," she explained, twirling my hair around her finger.

"I love you so much you know that? I can't believe we'll be there soon," I smiled up at her.

"And I love you bellina," she grinned, placing her lips gently against mine.

"Hmm how much?" I said, biting on her bottom lip a little.

"So so much bella, I'd love love to show you but I don't think we're the type to join the mile high club," she winked.

"Plus we also have a teenager with us," I laughed, nodding my head towards Mali.

"No bellina, we have our daughter with us," she said, using the word daughter for the first time.

"She's really ours," I sighed happily, gently placing my hand on Amalia's knee.

"Just like this love," Stefania nodded, resting her head atop mine as I placed it back on her shoulder.

"We should wake the bambina soon though, I want her to look out the window as we land," Stefania added.

"She won't be able to sleep later tonight either," I frowned.

Ten minutes later, the pilot announced that we would beginning our decent soon and should start to prepare for landing.

"Mali sweetheart," I said softly, gently shaking her legs.

"Wake up my sunshine," I said, moving my hand to stroke her cheek.

"Mmm," she whined, starting to stretch but not having the room to do so.

"Shhh it's okay beautiful, we'll be landing soon," I said, helping her to sit up straight by lifting her legs off me.

"I'm all stiff," she said sleepily, rubbing her shoulder.

"Come her my girl," I said, guiding her to twist a little towards the window.

I gently massaged her neck, smiling as she shivered.

"That gave me goosebumps," she giggled, letting my continue.

"We'll be able to stretch our legs soon bella," Stefania told her as I used my thumbs to get into her shoulders.

"Thanks mom, that's helping," she smiled, glancing over her shoulder at me.

I wondered if I'd ever stop blushing and feeling butterflies whenever she called me mom or momma or mommy. Whatever she chose made my heart fill.

The plane made a sudden decline.

"Wow, mom!," Mali gasped, turning back around to me.

"It's okay, we're just starting to land," I assured her.
