Danielle POV

Stef and I had just finished an Instagram live together and remained sat back against the sofa.

"That was a fun one," Stefania smiled, reaching to take her phone from the tripod.

"Yeah and I can finally take this off. I'm roasting," I said relieved, pulling the station 19 hoodie over my head.

"AMALIA BAMBINA. WE'RE FINISHED," Stef shouted.

"That was loud," I laughed, jokingly covering my ears.

"I'm sorry bellina," she said much softer, lifting her arm and resting it around my back.

I sank into her and lay my head back smiling when I saw our little teenager enter the room.

"Hey bubbas," I smiled.

"You were on for ages," she pouted, heading over to Stef and I on the sofa.

"Sorry bambina, you know what Danielle and I are like when we start talking," Stefania smirked.

"Come join us Mali," I added, encouraging her to come sit with us.

"Lay your head here sunshine," I said, patting my lap, knowing just by looking at her she was getting tired.

She lay across the sofa and rested her head on my knees. I began running my fingers through her hair, watching as she relaxed.

"What have you been doing bella?" Stefania asked, tracing her fingers up and down my arm.

"Reading," she replied simply.

"We should've guessed," I smirked.

"You mean you didn't go on your phone to watch your mom and I talk rubbish for over an hour?" Stefania smirk, faking being offended.

"I did not no," Amalia yawned, not up for playing back and forth.

"How you feeling after today's table read bubs?" I asked, not having had much time to check in since we'd finished work earlier.

"I'm just glad I remembered how to read aloud," she joked.

"Tell us honestly sweetheart," I said seriously, looking down at her as her eyes met mine.

"It's still a lot," she admitted.

"That's okay bambina," Stefania assured her.

"I don't ever want to be away from either of you," Amalia told us.

"Bambina we've been working on this," Stef said gently.

"I know but it's hard mama," she whined, rolling onto her side to hide her face against my stomach.

"You've been doing so so well Mali. We just need to keep taking it all one step at a time," I said calmly, holding my hand against the back of her head.

I felt her cling onto my clothes and decided to leave her doing what she needed to do.

"I know you'd happily be with Stefania and I all day every day Mali but it's not realistic and you know that. You know next week I've got a meeting about potentially directing an episode and your mama is going over to Greys," I explained, doing what Carla had told us to do and pre-warning her of any changes.

"I know," she said, sounding all muffled as she hid her face away.

"Have you thought anymore about having Carla on set for some sessions?" I asked.

"Yeah she's safe," Amalia nodded.

"Good girl bella, we'll call her to arrange some. Then you know when she's coming," Stefania smiled.
