"We need to break up," Hermione said, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
Remus's eyes widened, "Wh-why?" He asked gripping her shoulders lightly, he wasn't trying to hurt her, just to keep his balance.
"I- I just don't feel anything anymore. I mean I love you! I truly do! But geez not like that." She said her voice thick, she wisperd,"Not anymore."
"I don't understand." He said. "I love you! I love you like a husband loves a wife."
"No, you don't. You just think you do. Just like I thought I loved you. but it's not you." She said, her eyes lowering her eyes. "I don't mean it like that. But we just don't fit together. But Mary." She said giving him a small smile. "She likes you. She's the same age as you. She'd be perfect for you."
"No."
"Remus I don't want to end this on a bad note. I still want to be your friend."
"We will always be friends. Always."
"Good. Im sorry." She said giving him a genuine smile. "Im sorry."
