.
About an hour later, Lu FengHo, LanFen and Shuǐ ChénLín had gone around a bit, and LanFen appreciated the beautiful forest, which was dotted with fall's daring colours.
But apart from the scenery, and a few indigenous demon trees, LanFen had largely seen everything before, and she fully understood why the stronger blue realm disciples would get bored of hunting here.
Eventually the three had come to a large rock.
The rock looked older than anything in the forest and there were a lot of ancient looking carvings on it.
"What a magnificent ancient rock!" This she hadn't seen, and LanFen ran over to give it a closer look.
"You have good eyes." Shuǐ ChénLín smiled. "This rock out-dates the Demon aisle. Or more accurately, it's after the Shuǐ Patriarch discovered this rock that he got the idea of creating the Demon Aisle around it.
"It is enchanted to keep the demons in here, but in the past, it was also used as a doorway to the other levels. He replicated the rock in the three levels, so he and his men could get there and back quickly, as they sorted the different levels of monsters."
"Wah! So powerful!" LanFen exclaimed, and she was now studying the carvings slowly.
"Yes. But the rock's teleporting power was removed long ago." Lu FengHo informed. "This was because new disciples kept accidentally getting into the level three forest and nearly losing their lives! These days, no one even bothers with them after their first trip."
"I see..." LanFen said distractedly, her attention fully on the rock. "But, why does it look like this set of inscriptions here, were carved in rather recently?" They looked fresh with barely any dust in their crevices, and they didn't even have the aged finesse of the rest.
Shuǐ ChénLín had noticed. "Zhao LanFeng, step away from ther-!" but too late.
LanFen's fingers had brushed over the inscriptions to study them more closely, and she instantly vanished before their eyes.
"Zhao LanFeng!"
"Younger brother!" Lu FengHo and Shuǐ ChénLín both chorused as they rushed to the rock. It glowed bright red for an instant, before reverting back to its dull greyish tinge.
"Not good!" Shuǐ ChénLín was clearly worried. "Going by the red glow, he seems to have ended up in the Level three forest!"
"How is this possible?!" Lu FengHo asked. "This shouldn't be working!" And he touched the rock, but nothing happened. "Why isn't it working anymore?!"
Shuǐ ChénLín had pulled out a unique flare and shot it into the sky, signaling an emergency end to the hunt. The disciples would recognize it and rush back out of the gates, so none of them would come here and fall into the same trap.
Shuǐ ChénLín studied the inscription, and noticed it was designed to only work once.
"It's another trap for Zhao LanFeng. Just think. Asides from him, who else hasn't seen enough of this rock? He's the only new person here, and the only person that won't be running around, trying to catch monsters."
"He's also the only person that would bother to touch it! But who could even come in here and do this?!" Lu FengHo asked.
"There's no way to know right now. Let's find him before he runs into danger!" Shuǐ ChénLín had turned and was already heading towards the gates, as they would have to go back out and through the level three gates.

LanFen opened her eyes in a cold dark place. The sandy floor beneath her was damp and clammy.
She stood up quickly, her fan instantly in her hands.
