.

There was a shocked silence after LanFen's words.

Shuǐ ChénLín and Lu FengHo looked at each other.

"Are you belittling us?!" One of the older disciples demanded.

"This little fellow! One punch and you'll be sent flying!" Another.

"Let these elder brothers teach you a lesson!" Another.

"Mark your words!" Another.

LanFen's annoyance grew, and her brows drew together in a furrow. "Hmph! Suddenly barking dogs have appeared! If you get me to shut my fan, or get me to use both hands, it counts as a hit... Begin!"

LanFen flung out the incense stick she had collected from Lu FengHo, and it began to burn.

Anger. Pride. Curiosity. Ambition. An easy win...

For whatever reason, all fifteen disciples flew at LanFen at once, attacking without the least bit of mercy.

A cloud of dust rose from the attacks, and the disciples continously poured in. But then,

"Ei? What are you still doing over there? Oi! Over here, over here!"

They began to stop one after the other and turn toward her voice.

LanFen was a good distance behind them, completely untouched. She fanned herself, and wore her most innocent expression on her face.

"This helpless little brother will get bored if you keep ignoring him like this..."

They charged at her again, but she just disappeared and appeared somewhere else!

"Teleportation?!" Chao Zhi Hong wondered aloud, but LanFen just shrugged at his confused face.

"Hm hm hm? Did you swallow all your big words?"

Shuǐ ChénLín watched in amazement, and one egde of his lips lifted slightly. Zhao LanFeng wasn't teleporting.

He was just moving extremely fast. Certainly too fast for the eyes of any blue realmer.

It seemed like a version of the Shuǐ Clan thousand step technique, which allowed one to move in incredible bursts of speed, to the point where it seemed like they were teleporting.

Zhao LanFeng had used this technique in front of him before, so he wasn't surprised, but he shook his head at the disciples, knowing they had already lost.

If this was Zhao LanFeng's strategy, there was no way any of them would be able to touch him.

Lu FengHo blinked several times. LanFeng was so fast that even his eyes had trouble keeping up sometimes!

The disciples had begun to chase after LanFen in a frenzy, but just when one person nearly grabbed her, she disappeared and appeared behind him, in just enough time to duck, dodge, or vanish again before someone else attempted to touch her.

It was an entertaining five minutes, where the shouting disciples flew about desperately, and LanFen's voice could be heard above the din, saying things like:

"Ei?"

"So close!"

"Work harder!"

"That was dangerous!"

"This fellow! Where are you trying to grab?!"

The four ends of her white ribbons fluttered behind her each time, taunting them further.

The disciples got more and more frantic, and were now falling over each other in a desperate bid to grab Disciple Zhao.

There were a notable few who were quite proficient at qinggong, but LanFen was far above their level, so she always leapt higher, or leaned lower, faster than any of them could.
