.
The sun had journeyed across the sky four times, before LanFen opened her eyes again.
She looked around the dimly lit room, then sat up with some effort. Her back now felt as if a thousand knives were poking in slightly, as opposed to impaling her completely, so it was bearable...
"Disciple Zhao!" A disciple ran over. "You're awake! We weren't sure you would live! You slept for four straight days!"
'Disciple Zhao? Whose 'Disciple am I exactly?' LanFen glanced up at the visitor.
It was the second female disciple among the ones that had first come to capture her.
From what LanFen had heard on the boat, her name was Lu Qiang, Lu FengHo's younger cousin and personal disciple.
"Little girl, If I wanted to die, I would die during my sentence, not some weird room - - - - somewhere." LanFen looked around. "Where is this place?"
The girl bowed. "I'm Lu Qiang. This is one of the many rooms in the Shuǐ Mansion!" She replied dutifully.
LanFen looked down at herself. She was wearing house robes that were a mild blue, almost white. Her inner robes had been changed as well, to a set of fresh white robes.
'Does everyone already know I'm a lady?!' She wondered.
Not possible.
Lu Qiang was still staring at her *with at least thirty stars in her eyes!
*She was attracted to LanFen thinking she was a man...
"Pretty girl, who changed my clothes?" LanFen asked casually.
Lu Qiang flushed prettily. "Brother Lu attends to you personally, and Elder Shuǐ also came once to unlock your meridians. But the Blind healer dresses your wounds and changes your clothes."
Lu Qiang flushed deeper as she explained, her expression clearly revealing that she wouldn't have minded undressing 'Disciple Zhao' herself!
LanFen resisted the urge to laugh. 'Wouldn't you be shocked in every way, if you get your wish? A case of 'finding useless treasure'!'
LanFen stopped paying attention to her, as she realized that, even if the healer was blind, there's no way he hadn't discovered her secret!
"Where's the Healer?" She asked, keeping the anxiety out of her voice.
"He left yesterday."
"Ei? Then where is Brother Lu?"
It was only a short while before a puzzled Lu Qiang went to fetch Lu FengHo, and by the time she returned with him, LanFen was already sitting up.
"You're awake!" Lu FengHo's expression could only be described as joyful. "Leave us." he ordered Lu Qiang, and she hurried out.
He cast a 'no-eavesdropping' seal, which he directed to the door, and a small stream of light blue aura shot from his fingers and spread across the door and walls.
Lu FengHo's family specialised in shield techniques, which was the basic core of the 'no-eavesdropping' seal, so the spell was almost on par with Clan Leader Shuǐ's own.
"The disciple earlier said my clothes were changed by the healer...?" LanFen trailed off deliberately, watching Lu FengHo's reaction, but he just cocked his head.
"Ei?" He was puzzled for a second, then, "Ahaha! No need to worry about that! Healer Wang explained that you have a hideous scar, so he sent us out whenever he wanted to change you, or apply the ointments."
